bought the 32" acoustic solutins but the mrs made me take it back as too big for the house . i liked it though and felt in many ways slightly better than the toshiba that has replaced it (but is black!!) did have some problems with the channels i.e reception of ftn but may just be my area but wouldn't hesitate to recommend i found pic and sound fine
had bought with bonus bonds (generic vouchers) in refund argos only list as argos vouchers and tried to give me back argos voucher. insisted that this was not good enough as no choice as to where to spend and got cash refund - may be useful to others with similar types vouchers.

. bought the 26" toshiba for £500 in tottenham ct rd (the shop near dominion called surplus electronics or something for that model at least seemed the chepaest in tcr)

    Can anyone advise?

John Lewis are selling a Humax 26" LU26TD1 with freeview for £450 and 5 yr warranty, its gone off the website but should be available instore you can ring and order over the phone.

Ive had mine about 3 weeks and its very good, no blocky pictures like some lcds, i did have a Philips 26" LCD before but the picture was very poor, the Humax is a good as my old CRT

  • Hi-very tempted by the Samsung LE32R72 on hot deals today. Anyone any personal experience of these please. Am wavering between this and the 40" spec...... Option for interest free credit also part of attraction. Technically illiterate-just want a good tellie so any help really appreciated. Don't really need widescreen or freeview - more interested in quality of picture and sound. Also appreciate any further ways to get price down of course. Thanks for any help/advice - don't want to make a mess up of this purchase.
