thanks
The easiest way is to use a graphics card with a HDMI connector built-in, but this is a releatively new feature. I understand (although not tried this myself) that a graphics card with a DVI connector (far more common and available for less than £30) can connect too using a convertor cable. There is also a PC Audio In connector to allow the PC sound to be delivered through the TV's speakers.0 -
Am after some advice please, mother in law wants me to buy her a "good quality" LCD TV and have found a Phillips 26" with freeview HD ready for £457 delivered.

I trust Philips but is this misplaced and are the specs decent? Are there any alternatives I should be considering.
Thanks in anticipation. (26" is as big as it needs to be by the way)0 -
 ....I paid more than this for 10" less!! ..no idea of quality but looks like a bargain at that price! (delivery extra though.. £664.57 with delivery)

Come now, Hazel, everyone knows it's not the size that matter, it's what you do it that counts.
Sorry. I'll get my coat...

And of course the 5% quidco option giving £522.50They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0 -
Just tried the argos one but they are out of stock for my postcode, even rang them and they asked for my postcode first before proceeding, is this normal or are they only shipping to certain area's....0

try nipping into a local store.
I work there and got one in mK, although it says not available for store reserves they can have them in stock.
May be able to check store stocks nearby.
Well happy with mine for the price.0 -
Cool, thanks for that..0
