  • Glad to hear that the supplier will do a Scotland run this week. Hope I can get refund soon.
  • By the way, I had bought new mattress three months ago and am happy with it. This type of new mattress is one of the mattresses I tried it on stores and felt comfortable. I sent the structure of the mattress etc information to the supplier before.

    What does that mean exactly?

The supplier is using his own terms and conditions and not the DSR. So therefore any refund given will also be under his companies T+C's as well.

Most suppliers will say that the DSR's DO NOT apply to beds and mattresses due to hygiene. I know the debate on that issue continues.

My best advice is to continue to contact the company once a week until refund is processed.

Would this be a 'Dim Teegan' mattress per chance?

Good grief. When will people learn? _pale_

MSE does have a lot to answer for allowing Mr Deagan to promote his business on the MSE site unchecked for so long.

I remember reporting him years ago as I was so disturbed by what was going on. The problem though is the amount of traffic that the forum gets, it's so hard to monitor.

Shameless though if that's true about his Facebook page.

You reported him, others reported him. MSE should have pulled the plug on him long before they did. 6 months later and the problem rumbles on and MSE is partly to blame for that. They should have acted way before they did.

"he asked me to try mattresses on stores. After I sent him the types I thought comfortable,....."

I bought one of these types of mattress that I tried the mattress on one store and felt comfortable. It really works well. So the standard mattress is fine for me and I don't need special design mattress anyway.

  • The online store should follow rule under the DSR no matter what this store's T+C is.
