Just a head up. This account was changed to the Net Saver Issue 9 a while back and the bonus period comes to an end on 28/02/2014. The rate falls to 1% from the current 2.36%.

    Ditch and switch time.

Just a reminder that this account is now only paying 1% as the bonus period ended on 28/02/2014.

Ditch it and switch it time!

It was good while it lasted

Pretty abysmal rates aren't they? Last time i looked they were around 1.5% .Hubbys yearly isa when the bonus rate finishes drops to 2% and is equivalent to an instant access for us (neither of us pay tax now).i also have a 1.6% with Notts until september.

I doubt rates will improve until after the election next year.

The Santander 123 current account pays 3% on £20,000, you can have two of them each so £80,000 in total if you have a partner.

There are other current accounts paying 3%. Weird times we live in!
