    Morning all

Feel so lucky not to be living near any of the riot hotspots and feel so sad for those waking up (if they could sleep) to the destruction this morning.

Back to the moth busting today and a few jobs to do in the garden. Very tired though after DS1 work me at 4:30 complaining he was aching from yesterday's work and wondering what to do about going in this morning. Welcome to the hard world of work!

    Morning all,

Positive vibes to Tenmah for her daughter and :T to Thrifty and Mr Thrifty for working out a way for her to have some respite.

More positive vibes being beamed to anyone who needs them. I hope anyone who is in an area where there has been trouble is safe. :(

It's a nice morning here but the wood pigeons had me awake at silly o'clock - who said the countryside was peaceful?
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Positive vibes for Tenmah and great news Thrifty, you're more than welcome in my neck of the woods anytime.

Had a lovley day out with my best friend, his boyfriend and family yesterday. Went to the Burrell Collection and then pottered round the gardens at Pollock House before partaking of some fizz in town. Lovley to see them. He and his boyf have booked to take a year off work from November this year. I'm hoping to join them in Goa in March!!!! Just need to get a job first though X

Okay folks - remember I was asking "big" questions on Friday night (thanks for all the replies and support by the way) - well right on cue MAJOR MELTDOWN today and I mean MAJOR and lots of them :o.

Next time I start pondering the deep questions, someone may want to phone Mr Thrifty and warn him not to come home for a few days. So after chewing him up and spitting him out, several times in quick succession - poor man, it isn't his fault (we are both doing fab jobs under extremely trying circumstances) - we sat down and have formulated a plan going forward.

We worked out that I am breaking down every 3-4 months (never, ever did this in the past) whereas Mr Thrifty is managing to plod on regardless and we came to the conclusion that Mr Thrifty is getting a break, allbeit the break is going to work & coming home, but a break of routine it is with all the associated benefits. Whereas I have been caring 24/7 for the past 2.5 years without a break(as some of you know we manage so well, ds is classed as not being severe enough for us to warrant respite care - <ironic smilie here>).

So.... we are going to re-jig the debt-busting and work in 3-4 short MSE breaks a year, 2-4 days at a time, in the UK all for me :T:T:T

I cannot tell you the ABSOLUTE RELIEF I feel - I feel I can cope again.... so thank you again, to all you lovely, wonderful folks, you will never know or appreciate how much of a support you all are and how much I owe you.

From the bottom of my heart, love to all, Thriftyxxx

Eta: Sending positive vibes for your daughter Tenmah and my thoughts and love go to you as well. Please come on to tell us how it went so that we can support you.

I think this is such a sensible idea - and the first thing I would like you to do is work out the MSE-est way of getting up here for a few days.

The bedding is washed and ironed - the store cupboard is full - we can cook, craft, potter, whatever you need to do in order to go back feeling refreshed.

Everyone needs QRT - read again and get packing hon:

    Guyettes, quick Q:

A friend of mine is thinking of opening a joint account with her OH. She has an excellent credit rating, his not so much. So far, in terms of all household bills, there names are seperate and there is no pre-existing financial link. If they open a joint account, can his less good credit rating affect hers?

    Fanks! :p

    Yes it can!

(Why would anyone want a joint account anyway.....!)

OOOOOOHHHH - lost a long post.

Just to say today's challenge has been posted - will report back on the chapatti flour experiment as I have made a chapatti, a single bread roll and now have a small loaf in the oven (does that sound like an euphemism?)

Thank you all for the positive vibes and good wishes. It really means a lot to know I can come on here and vent as I tend to keep it all in as much as I can as it isn't fair on my daughter, so thank you all.

I will let you know later how it goes x

Thrifty - I think an MSE tour is a grand idea and I can offer a bed should you want one!

Tenmah - I have set my phone alarm and will send positive vibes
