    On tenterhooks!!

Would be happy to help you with the magazine email on the 'other side'. You have to do it anyways, MG if you're going to be MFI3. That would be £200 off the mortgage (or lots of champagne for becoming DF :D:D)

    OK ladies - a promise is a promise is a promise:D

The USA guys won't pay on receipt of an email invoice, but will on receipt of the books and proper invoice. They will even do an electronic transfer as I have told hem that their deal will make me debt free and they are almost as excited as I am:j:j:j

So - books are being collected by courier at 6pm - and I think I am
    "OFFICIALLY DEBT FREE"

I am shaking, shaking, shaking!!!!! The kids have no idea what we are excited about - just that we all are. :j:j:j

So I have emailed Ms Baty as I promised - here is what I wrote. If you want to add anything to this then I suggest you can contact her as well on my behalf.

"This email is in response to a request by one of the MSE Mods for good stories - and about 35 Personal Messages today telling me to drop you a line.

Today I became Debt Free - having paid off £10K of debt in 23 months and 3 days. My business was credit crunched and on the 16th Nov two years ago I was left literally with "71p and three nappies". A year on benefits and a year working around my two boys 11 and 3 and I finally have paid off the last of a 10K debt - and I won't kid you it has been tough.

You know what they say "you don't know how strong a woman is until you drop her in hot water" - well I am now strong enough to creosote fences with!!!

I have "pinched my pennies" over the last two years by doing exactly what my Granny would have done during the war - I have become a "Make Do and Mend" Queen - made my toddlers next two years wardrobes by remaking men's trouser and shirts from the charity shop pound racks. I was gifted a black bin-bag of wool on Freecycle and have knitted him all his layers.

I dedicated £5 per week to building myself a store cupboard - and although my mates now call it the "Armageddon Cupboard" (it will save my during any disaster) it has enabled me to cut our family food budget to about £15 per week (that's for me and two littlies BTW). We cook from scratch, bake our bread and love our pressure and slow-cooker.

My current "madness project" is to recover two charity shop sofas for less than £10 using recycled cotton curtains - you can follow the progress on here https://www.mortgagefreeinthree.com - because you have guessed it, the next challenge is to pay off my mortgage of £125K in three years to get my boys the financial security they deserve.

In the meantime I am aiming to completely refurbish my home on less than £500 - don't know how but I am willing to give it a good old go - (Lots of "Free-I-Y I'm thinking)

There, I have done as I promised and made contact - now if you don't mind, the boys and I are going to celebrate being debt free with a pot of tea and a ginger snap biscuit (would you like the recipe LOL)

You can contact me on this email or directly on *********** - but whatever happens I hope you find the perfect story to fit your needs.
