The Matrix - Re-Evolution!!

Don't know much about chicken stock but do have many possible answers for things unrelated to cooking. So how does this Matrix thing work? Is there a pledge of allegiance or something?
Shall we tell him about the initiation ceremony????:rotfl::rotfl:
Just a group of peeps who have decided to say "sod the recession we are not playing - we are going t have our dream lives anyway"
Its a place to whinge (for a short time) - come up with a plan (usually quite challenging) and then be held accountable for yourself.
Lots of banter, lots of support - the odd bahookie kicking, but above all positive mindsets taking action.
Then again ..................... I could have wandered into the wrong thread
Welcome aboard hon - be be warned

OMG!! I only came on to post yesterdays challenge LOL. Todays little dittie is brought to you from the lovely Mrs B.
Happy [STRIKE]Saturday,[/STRIKE] Sunday
Today I would like you to take a wander around your home and find yourself a "Place of your Own" - a little corner that you can kit out to be a mini-sanctuary, a place to park yourself, a place to be still and think, a place to listen to some inspirational music, to read a little something uplifting.
A cosy chair, a warm blanket, a soft pillow, a basket for your crafts and a table at your elbow to hold a cup of something warming and a small pile of heart-helping books.
My only condition - I don't want this to be a desk, this is a place away from work, a place to take some Quality Recovery Time - a place just for you.
So go de-clutter yourself the perfect place

]Morning all and welcome Mr B. Pledge of allegiance .........Nope just a positive, can do, non judgemental attitude is all you need. Given the posts on your thread so far I would say you fit the bill;) There are previous threads but the long and short story is
- Memory Girl was left standing in the bank with 71p and 3 nappies and 2 boys to feed when the Twonkers decided to close her business down
- Memory Girl started here Make do and Mend diary which was witty, intelligent and full of lovely cheap recipes
- we all jumped on the bandwagon until there were at least 100 disciples
- olive oyl set a challenge to collect football kits for kids in Africa - we helped
- Claire wanted to set up her own little business - we helped
- Others needed help with CVs/Interview advice/practical stuff we helped
- At some points some of us feel down, we all draw the wagons in a circle and help
Loads more to tell but thats a start. MG is our guru but we are all equal. There are a couple of men who pop in Mr F and Lisawaters (Mike but you can read all about him on his thread - another where lots of these ladies migrated over from and they changed his world literally by getting DIY SOS to sort his house out). We think that lots of men lurk but are too shy to pop their head out from behind the sofa. Thats ok as long as they are learning something.
Oh and I forgot Mr BIG. He is MGs American Mentor (along with the others) who sets her BIG challenges and she forces us to do them too
Think that sums us up but sure others will chip in.

Good to see some new people here
My bad week with the medication has arrived dead on schedule, but I need to go out and get my iron supplements, go to the health food shop for pulses and more supplements, pick up some salad and veg if I have the energy (if not I'll do an online shop) and grab a few sacks of coal to start stocking up.
When I get home I want to run the hoover round and tidy up a bit before I collapse... The high-fibre soup is still bubbling away. It smells good, so I'll try it for lunch.0 -
Wow. It's a good day for food then: I just made a mango banana smoothie with a few bits of frozen fruit added. One word: lush!
Have much to do today, so I have to come back to you all with a completed list later, else you have to come round and nick my smoothie-making equipment!0
