After contacting CB last week after they requested i speak with them & them telling me that they uphold 1 of my loans (I had 3, they were all rolling/refinance) i emailed the CEO & PPI mamanger to explain that under FSA guidance, banks should consider all loans blah,blah,blah..;) anyway, emailed the PPI manager back tonight to ask if they had chance to read my email amd clarify if they would look at my other loans or i would need to SAR them (which i already have...wasting no time:p ) and i have just got this response....
."We are in receipt of the further email sent and a further review has been completed we will be in touch with you in due course to confirm our position"....... (dances) what do you all think??
Do you think they will look at my other loans or give me the brush off?

Current position: Not heard a thing from them.............0 -
Friday 26th August, still not heard anything, so telephoned PPI Team again.
Was told final response letter would be sent out shortly, with a part for me accept / decline offer. Once acceptance was returned I will receive refund either by cheque or direct to my bank - whichever I preferred.
Lady on the phone seemed really helpful, but couldn't tell me if letter would be with me before 31st August.
Tuesday 20th September: Still no sign of final response letter.
Telephoned CB and was told that the letter they had sent at the end of July was a standard letter regarding a possible mis-sell.
Despite me quoting extracts from the letter to the lady on the phone (which clearly states I have been missold and will be reimbursed) she insisted that i had misunderstood the letter and that no decision had been made yet if i was due a reimbursement. She was also adamant that CB had no obligation to keep me updated on any progress.
Today I've sent a letter to the head of PPI looking for clarification.0 -

Final response letter received today with refund valuation + interest, just to sign and return my acceptance to CB.

Letter of receipt from FOS,back in touch within 3 weeks-I assume to say they are looking into my complaint as I dont think it will be done that quick.Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?0
