An unexpected needed IN - I've been using up various lotions and potions on my feet as foot cream, but with it being summer I'm not wearing my usual cotton socks or tights over the creamed feet and they have been more exposed.
Yesterday I noticed a sore rough patch on my left heel. I know from experience that cheaper foot creams aren't really thick enough, so invested in a 75 ml Compeed Overnight Cracked Heel Cream from Wilko's. Relatively pricey - I think it was about £4.28. It had better work at that price. I was going to get a Scholl cream from Savers but blanched at the thought of hauling my bulky Wilko shopping round the shop.
The Compeed cream looks a similar formulation to the Aldi Urea Foot Cream, pity I've not got an Aldi very near me yet to get this, as it is much cheaper. I'll have one by next Spring though.
Really heavy rain here this afternoon, thank goodness we have no flood risk, we are away from streams and rivers and fairly well elevated.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... It's very quiet here today!
I had a close escape with the BS website. I was going to place another order with the 50% code but after I logged in tthe price shot up again. Seemingly you can only use the code once. I'd already entered all my CC details and was about to hit confirm when I realised. Phew, that was lucky!

Xoxo it smells just like it. They did have a tester open in store so you can try it out. If you google it the reviews are very good and it beat Chanel in a sniff test.
I have tried it out today and it's lasted well.
An In the Ciate purple nail polish with Marie Claire and it also had a dove intensive repair sample tube!0 -
Busy week in the welshmummy household so haven't had a chance to pop on as much.
2 outs for me due to swapsies done on FB, which means 2 more things to add to my stash list but 2 things that I will use.
No purchases this week and I have had 2 UU's - 1st an Impulse body spray - have another 2 in my stash and the other is an Intensive care deodarant - only another 45 to use before I have to buy any more.

morning all :hello:
my first post this month and it's a confession. I went a bit mad at the nails inc counter and bought 3 bottles to add to the already groaning drawer of nail varnishes that I currently own. Then as if that wasn't bad enough I couldn't decide which Marie Claire freebie nv I liked best so bought both.
MC also came with a free tube of Dove conditioner so now have two of those to add to the stash.
Oops, almost forgot to declare the Nails Inc Kensington caviar base and topcoat duo that somehow fell into my basket in Boots.
I'm off to sit on the naughty step (anybody want their nails done while I'm there?:rotfl:)
Have a good day everyone, xo0 -
Just a quick mention that should anyone be on the hunt for a fragrant new shower gel the new Sensual variant in the Palmolive Aromatherapy range is really rather nice. This was the one I got free with the voucher I downloaded.
It scores with me as it's quite floral - not that I'm a huge florals fan, but it means my son won't use it!! Currently on offer in Mr T's for £1.01.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Out - Dove Shea Butter Shower Gel. WIBA? I would - it smells lush, keeps you soft and the smell really lingers.
Out - Bath Time Bath Elixir. WIBA? Yes. It smells like sweets, makes lots of bubbles and was just 50p from wilkos (I really stocked up!)
In some swapsies from the group - 2 nail varnishes and an eyeliner out but I don't count them in this because I barely wear any makeup, especially not in the summer cos I get too hot.Princess Sparklepants0
