    Hi guys,

I am back in the UK, finished my year abroad! At home until Thursday evening, sorting out all of my things I have accumulated, then off on holiday for two weeks in Rhodes with mum and brother.

My list for this week looks like this...

    Today
    Washing
Sort kitchen stuff - get list from T
    Ironing
    Download reading material for Greece

    Tuesday
    Pack first boxes for Manchester
    Charity shop bags

    Wednesday
    Pack

    Thursday
    Pills
    Dentist 10.50
    Wax?
    Make spag bol

Thanks to Pigpen and Toots for keeping the thread running, and congrats/ hugs/ spoons as needed!
    xx

    PS - I am starting a 60 in 60 in my kitchen at 13.00 [B/]- anyone joining me for a HHC or a 60 in 60? xx

Not much done yet, but I've made a start and decluttered and vacuumed on corner of the living room - the worst corner I might add. Here's the list so far:
Monday ~ Living room, hall and stairs!
    Level One
Declutter the guff and put it where it belongs!
    [STRIKE]Empty bins etc[/STRIKE]
    Attack a frog!
    Level Two
    wipe the sofas
Vacuum the floors, including the stairs
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs
    Level three
Wash any curtains/nets soft furnishings that need it
Vacuum under any furniture you can safely move
    wipe and water any plants

    Extras
    1. Update spreadsheets/meal plans etc.. :D
    2. HHI
    3. 15 minutes filing/shredding
    4. Binbag dance!

can I remind you of one of my tips (not just you CY but all thread subscribers and lurkers!

Photocopy or scan ALL your cards (front and back) bank cards, credit cards, loyalty cards etc and leave it in a VERY safe place then when some toe-rag relieves you of your property you have access to all the phone numbers/membership numbers/account numbers.

have dealt with 2 frogs - dentist booked; chiropodist booked

Brilliant idea Valli, I'll add that to my toots list

Hugs Vanilla - I hope you get everything sorted

  • Afternoon all!

Hope were all ok today, and thanks again Pigpen and Toots for another week of motivation!

We were away on hols last week so the house, whilst relatively tidy, is a wee bit dusty and fusty...which needs sorting!

Thanks everyone for the support. I've contacted one loan company which say they will refund in 5-7 working days but we'll see if they actual contact us. Another has said they will contact us and the last has a form to be printed out, filled in and sent back. I just hope there is no more. :(:(

Then i got a phone call from the NDCS about helping us go over DD's new statement (when it arrives) and that we'll have a big fight to get her to the school she wants to go. She thinks it will drag on for ages and will be appeal and tribrunal. Sounds abit scary to be honest and now i'm all worried about it..:( I was happy in my wee bubble there, thinking it wouldn't be too bad..:rotfl:

Right i'm gonna give the bank a ring and see if there is anything that can be done from there side, probably not but worth a try.

Off phone to bank and one was a flipping direct debit, so we're in tomorrow to cancel that. The other 2 have no phone numbers just email so it's the waiting game.

shellysue i'll help pay it over the next two weeks but i think i'll let him stew until the day before it is due. Maybe he'll think twice in the future. Me and hubby keep our money separate just for this reason. Then hubby can pay me back when the loans finished with and i have him back on track. I'm gonna take away the laptop and cards so he can't do anything else.

Right i best go think about doing some cleaning....:D
