handbag cleaning moves on apace...
why do I just ram so much in there?
Vanilla - don't know what to say other than I admire your restraint - because were I in your position I'd have flipped.

Just a quick post to let you know my first lot of results are back and there is no sign of any cancer. Treatment is ongoing, and I'll be back in for another biopsy in November, but that's a huge relief0

that's BRILLIANT news Greenbee!
I'm off to town shortly - late in the day, I know but I can park free after 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays - as can all borough residents. So not something I benefit from very often!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Fabulous news, greenbee. Hopefully they can now find a treatment for you that actually works. You've had to put up with this for ages.
Welcome back, carol. Herzlichen Glueckwunsch! and Felicitations! on finishing the year.
Gilly - I usually use places like soccer sports or sports direct (large discount sports wear shops) for things like that. I've also ordered from an internet company (polo shirts, shorts etc) and their stuff is really durable. PM me if you'd like the address. I'd never pay £17 for shorts!
Lunch made and eaten and a bit more decluttering done. DS1 has brought more laundry down, so that will remain a WIP. Have to strip my bed next, which is a pain, as that's where I chill in between flying sessions at the moment.
Another 3 hours or so and I'll be out visiting again. I almost forgot - I'm looking for inspiration. I've defrosted some chicken and a few chorizos. Any ideas, anyone? Preferably something I can throw in the oven before I set off. I was planning on having rice with whatever it is.0 -
60 things FLUNG
Including a few extra leftovers I finished off for lunch...
Have emailed about what will be there in our house for next year, I think we will need almost everything, but I still have it from last year so it's just a case of sorting out what is in which boxes.
Toots - yep, back to Manchester in mid-september, final year eek! I have a house with two of my friends, so I will be back on proper flylady to keep it all shipshapeMum is doing okay, I think she is pleased to have me back where she can keep an eye on me after the housefire fiasco in Paris
Greenbee - such good news, I am so pleased for you.
Vanilla - stay strong hun, I hope you get everything sorted
It has just started chucking it down with rain, so I will go and hang the washing up inside, not outside like i was planning
