Hi all. THanks to to all who keep this going.

Ohh is is meant to be nice in the south east? Great. Of to a local farm/play area today with dd and ds and they are doing pottery so should be good.

Need to give the living room a quick sort out as friend is coming round tonight, not that I think she would mind what it looked like to be honest. Main aim to concentrate on the wonderful pile of ironing I seem to have accumulated. Just don't know where it all seems to come from.

Oh dear yorkie - not a good start - can't you go back to bed for a bit?

I haven't made much headway in my bedroom - having said that you can't actually see the floor anyway.

Does anyone want any Disney princess crayons?

Right I've just got time for another HHC before I take the kids.

entrance hall and stairs are full of computers, monitors, etc waiting to be collected, they were supposed to be collected last wednesday around lunch time, but after DH had waited until 2, he called them to be told the bloke was off sick and it would be mon/tues before they could be picked up - nice of them to let us know:mad: if nothing happens in the next 2 days, I shall call the company and complain loudly:eek:

todays frog is to make the top I cut out yesterday, very simple, shouldn't take long, so at lunch it should be done. :T I am getting my winter clothes sorted out now.

Ok some things are now complete on the list. Just sitting down with a cup of tea. The dog decided to have diarreaha this morning so had to mop the kitchen anyway - bless him ;)

Basically the hall is done - moped, bits and pieces put away, shoe racks tidied and shoes put away, paintwork cleaned (easy job that as painted all the skirting and door frames last week so looks spotless :D).

Lounge almost done, just need to vaccum the sofa. Oh and have left out DD's cardigan as need to sew a button on it - on frog list.

Also got the bedding in the washer so can put out on the line shortly

    Haven't touched hall upstairs yet.

From the bottom of my heart I thank you for this - and have you put his name in his shoes? (seriously!) and his plimsolls?

Copydex is EXCELLENT for gluing name labels into shoes - and the time I waste trying to hand back jumpers - I sit there, in front of 27 children telling them the garments I am holding MUST belong to one of them and all I get are blank looks.

I haven't done much today:p apart from argue on couple of threads. Might stay off one of them now because 'look-at-me-girl' has decided to join in:o

im just going to write his initials on the inside of the shoes with a sharpie! thats what i did at nursery with them. his jacket already has one and ill initial the inside of his school bag too.

need to buy some new inside shoes for him though well for both boys actually coz they have grown! :D:D

Bathroom is being demolished so the hall, stirs and landing having been cleared of pretty much everything. Not looking forward to the mess so let's hope it is over quickly!

On the plus side, it should mean lots of stuff decluttered, and we're dealing with lots of little frogs - my mother is cleaning the three silver photo frames and any other bits of silver (so far one small jug and two pin trays) we can identify in the house!

Need to think of productive things to achieve from the sofa over the next few days...

    Morning all

I hope DS's holiday is going to be plain sailing from now on - for his and your sake, cy.

Wow, kazw - that's a massive achievement in one week. Well done, you!

Welcome to the madhouse, O2bfree, and toothache-free vibes are on their way, lil_me.

Anyone for a HHC from 10.15? Breakfast is eaten and cups of tea drunk, so no excuse to put it off any longer. I'll make a start with laundry and dishes and then see what I'll fancy tackling. I'll be dot-to-dotting more than sticking to the list, but hope to see lots of improvement.
  • ive done a frog, have sent a cheque for OHs NI payments away. thankfully that wont need doing again till next year.
