Well, I've dealt with my frog apology letter - read it out to someone and received an "OK", and had an on-line OK - pretty sure it's not what the recipient 'wants', but it's the only apology I'm prepared to make - so, hitting the "print" button now. Perhaps that will send me two day literal headache away too.

Written a Toots list - or rather several lists in an effort to create "headings". It is now scrawled over at least 10 pieces of paper, so I've put that loose in a notebook, pending me thinking of even more things (yep, even as I type) and will tidy it into a list format I can work with later in the week.

Unfortunately, "Flylady" is currently one heading - and I fear it should really be broken into rather a lot of sub tasks! But at least it's there to [STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]galvanise[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]persuade[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]spur[/STRIKE] shame me into action.

Watering appears to be making not a jot of difference to my headache, so I'm going to feed it instead.

Will try to potter in here more often - you're such a lovely group of folks, and you really do encourage me to try harder - which is most definitely good for me. :)

i ironed on all the name tags on DS1 school stuff! i even put them on his jumpers which already have his name stitched on the front dohh!!

From the bottom of my heart I thank you for this - and have you put his name in his shoes? (seriously!) and his plimsolls?

Copydex is EXCELLENT for gluing name labels into shoes - and the time I waste trying to hand back jumpers - I sit there, in front of 27 children telling them the garments I am holding MUST belong to one of them and all I get are blank looks.

I haven't done much today:p apart from argue on couple of threads. Might stay off one of them now because 'look-at-me-girl' has decided to join in:o

Thank you for the thread pigpen and Toots :A

I won't be in until the weekend as I'm going away at 4:00 in the morning! Do you think I ought to start packing?!!! :rotfl:

gilly - I echo what Valli says and I only have 10 jumpers to sort! It's the PE shirts and shoes that all seem to match that are a nightmare! Shoes / plimsoles can be named with a permanent marker pen.

Love, hugs and thoughts for all who want or need them.

    Now .....suitcase...............!!

dora I like you plan - it looks like a good compromise - good luck with it

Mrs_B well done getting the start of a toots list - when you get 5 minutes with a coffee have a look at the things on your lists and make sure they are single doable items - nothing vague like paint bedroom - try to list all the steps needed for each item - its much easier to deal with small tadpoles than mammoth frogs!!!

I feel like my house in in a *little* bit of order but I need to keep on top of it and yes there are definitely black holes lurking that contain stuff that needs sorting so I'm joining this week and hoping to stick around to keep up the good work.

Need to start thinking about a frog list, for starters I have:

    1. Make opticians appointment for me and DD
    2. Pay nursery fees
and that's all I can think of at the moment...:rotfl:

Hello ladies, thanks to Pigpen and Toots for the new thread. I'm in this week. DH has a week off work and we hope to have some fun days out in between flying and me working.

Evening everyone. It's been a busy day here.
We've been out looking for cars for me. I have no idea what i want - basically 4 wheels and a steering wheel.
I'ts frog stuff to me - i HATE this type of thing. I just want someone to wave a wand and the old one will be gone, and the new to me one will be outside.

Anyway, thanks for the thread Toots and Pigpen. How was the party Piggers?

Busy week - hair consultation after work tomorrow, cos it's a new hairdresser and we need to choose a colour.
Meeting about voluntary work in the evening.
Wednesday is day off, with hair colour and cut in the morning and voluntary stuff in the afternoon.
Work is Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri...

Ok - heading for the shower, and then I must do some knitting. Baby cardigan, started when pregnant friend was 12 weeks pregnant - baby is now 5 weeks old.

Will desperately try to keep up with lists. MIL and FIL are coming to stay in 3 weeks, and will cat sit for 2 nights while we nip away to the seaside with my DM to see my DB.

Can't believe it's August tomorrow - where does the time go?
