    Hi guys

    First post updated.

sibles - thanks, and nice low spend so far there!
katie - glad you had a nice week away but annoying about your husband's pay!
ruby - excellent week spends last week!

I've not spent anything today, not planning to (although forgot to brng a bottle of wine with me in case I see my friend later and won't be going home first, so that's annoying if I have to buy one when I've got my bargain ones at home!).

I stupidly caved yesterday and bought 10 cigs. Although I had £3.29 in change and a £5 note and commented about it to the girl on the checkout (they were £3.30) and she said oh that's fine, just give me £3.29!!! In Tesco!!! I was quite shocked, but very please I still had my lovely £5 note!
I smoked 6 in total yesterday - 4 from the pack I bought, and I've had 5 today, with 1 left in the pack and 1 that someone owed me left. I don't want to buy any, and I don't want to smoke, but as I've smoked today, I have to "complete" the day if you see what I mean! Psychological thing. At least it's only about half what I was smoking!!!

    My update:
    31 Jul - Coffee - £2.75
    31 Jul - Cigs - £6.50
    31 Jul - White wine and soda - £3.95
    1 Aug - Milk and Bananas - £1.71
    1 Aug - Cigs - £3.29
    Total so far: £18.20/£60

Just remembered I might have to top up my fresh stuff but I think I can get away with waiting till tomorrow to buy it!

    Hi all

    Hope you're well!

Well, I still have money left... Although not much!
    Wine: £4.79
    Compost: £4.99
    Lunches: £4.49
Misc Tesco trip: £5 (although £1.44 was for coffee for a work colleague who's paid me back so...)
Remaining: £5.92 - ooh, more than I thought actually!

I've managed two proper NSDs this week, today I need to buy petrol but I'm not counting that as it comes out of a seperate 'pot', my only task is not to buy anything else other than petrol!

I'm on track this week but for the next fortnight we have visitors and I have days off so might be a bit trickier so if I can end this week with extra money I'll be happy!

Thank you all, have a great day!

    Hi all

Glad everyone's having a nice week, mine is getting better as the week goes on! In fact, in quite a good mood today!

    2 Aug - Tesco Misc - £9.13

Today I did my make-up/toiletries top up - had a budget of £60 this month (everything had run out!!!) - spent £59.30 but SAVED £19.63 because all my usual stuff was on offer etc! Bargain! Separate budget to my weekly spends though, so obviously not counting here!!!

Well so far this week I've spent £20.86 on a Tesco order for while my parents are away on holiday and I have to fend for my self like a ferrel child! The only other spend I have is my train fare to work tomorrow which will be £2.50. So I'm declaring a green week of £23.36! Going for £30 again next week!

hey there. it looks like a few people have done well this week keeping within their budgets!

i've been away camping since wednesday morning (previously had spent £4.00 on sunday at the car boot sale.)

arrived back home today and i have spent £46.45 while away (food, petrol and entrance to a butterfly zoo). this is less than i imagined i would spend - i still have £8.55 in my purse today, and didn't have to use my bank card at all over the week, even after putting an extra £15.00 in the car for petrol! :)

that takes my weekly total to this point up to £50.45 / £75.00!!! i may spend the last few quid of my budget on a nice chinese takeaway for this evening....mmmm.

    hurray :D
