I have been offered both packages by AOL. I am already a customer with them. The £19 one includes anytimes calls, the £14 one is evening and weekend calls only. I haven't accepted yet as it is an 18 month contract and I am not very happy with their service just now.

In september you e mail me and I will be able to done line rental, broadband and all your calls including 0845 and 0870 for £14.09 and you wont have to pay Bt a penny."

That grammar is atrocious. Are you sure it's a genuine AOL email? (I'm assuming you have cut-n-pasted from an email you received).

    I know:p
& yes it is cut & pasted.
I spoke to AOL & he said his name & that he would confirm in writing so I could email him late Sep.
    So yes its genuine.

I'd be careful MrsE. I'm coming to the end of a "special deal" from aol. I was promised a cheaper price of £14 p/m last July as long as I signed up to another year. Seeing as, like you, I'm in a rural exchange area without LLU I didn't expect to be offered a much better deal so signed up. Only a few months later I was hit with a letter saying prices would be going up to £19.99. I was tied in so stuck with the increase.
Anyway all I wanted to say was make sure you get, in writing, something saying that the special offer price will last x length of time so you don't get screwed like I was.:)

    It's only a game

I'm also in a very rural area and have no LLU or anything at all fancy. I just left AOL after 9 years as they wouldn't fix a fault unless I took a year's contract. I went to Plusnet.
