    Or buy a pc for trouble-free, compatible computing:D

    Apples suck:p
    You have to be joking. I bought one of these Apple Mac Minis a year ago. After a week where I couldn't do anything it all clicked! Wonderful - computing without tears at last. 15 years of PCs down the drain, unmourned. No maintainance, no viruses, easy and fast, no space consummed either.
    Buy a Mac and instantly improve your life.

    Shouldn't go to PC World then should you:D

    It's complete cobras to say that PC owners will be back to upgrade in 18 months but Mac owners are happy for 4 years:p

    80%+ of global office work is done on PC's so if Apple's products were that effective, that wouldn't be the case would it?

    Macs suit certain types of people who are prepared to pay over the odds for them and do certain types of work.

    The rest of the world gets along just fine with PC's;)

    Over the odds? He he how neanderthal! Read the latest PC Pro to see the glowing reports in several parts of this PC (!!!) users magazine about the value and usability of the Mac against the PC offerings, for both portables and desktops machines. I spend a LOT of time at work fixing colleagues PC problems - they would be twiddling their thumbs waiting for an overstretched technician otherwise, and totally unproductive.

  • For goodness sake!

    Get on with this and tell me your mac is better for £299 -if you can get one of your apple "bargains" :rolleyes:

    Wouldn't trust most IT support people to serve up spaghetti. But that's another subject:D

    Hahaha this thread takes me back to 1996 84cK Wh3N PEoPl3 U$3D TO +yPe L1eK +H15 +0 4v0Id d3+Ec7iON.. (annoying 1337 speak) arguing with script kiddies x platform was better than y..

    The war is over. Apple users are annoyingly smug, but they have a damn fine system since the move to OS X, the hardware has got much cheaper too

    Windows is also nowhere near as bad as people make out - I dont get anywhere near the crashes and viri infections many people claim to have.

    But seriously, Windows and Apple suck.. Amiga still Roxxors.. ;-)

    main() !!
    printf("Good Night");

    Oi - you forgot Linux! Download Ubuntu, put it on a CD, boot from it to a fully working system which will not touch your existing installation, and if you like it, select the "install" icon. You don't have to remove Windows - you can make a dual-boot machine (and Ubuntu will be able to read all the files on your Windows partition). And all for nothing.

    Sorry Cheapskate - the latest grenade is mine. :D

    I stil have a BBC B somewhere in the garage. No doubt it will still work just fine if i dig it out. Now THERE was a system: battleship chassis and designed to withstand total war by primary children, easy to program too.
