It's early,but I'm confidently declaring today as #4.
Have a great weekend folks!0 -
Good morning folks:j,
I had a spend day yesterday due to grocery shopping etc, but got some excellent bargains in whoopsie land:DIf you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
£2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!0 -
Good morning all!
Had a lovely day yesterday. Enjoyed my natter at the coffee morning ( very Hyacinth Bucket) and managed to resist the scones loaded with whipped cream and strawberries, but did succumb to a rather more modest fairy cake!
Made a few more cards in the afternoon, it's quite addictive!
Not a NSD unfortunately, as I had a couple of things to get.
Today I'm off to buy my fruit for the week. If it was just that I would class it as a NSD but Co$tco have fleece jackets on offer so I will get a couple of those. I like them for dog walking and gardening and my existing ones are a bit sad looking!
Fakeplasticwee - hope puss is ok - sending you (((hugs))
Have a lovely day everyone

Hi all very early for me but couldn't sleep lots to do today so an early declaration of NSD 4. Got lots of parcels to pack this weekend so going to be super duper careful.#Sealed pot #085.
1 debt versus 100 days £108.32/£300:j
Debt Jan 2016 £6877.37. Aug £6155.56
xmas saving £1 a day 274/366.0 -
Spoon - yes I did resist the lure of final clearance on Thursday
But it was a close thing, solved only by making my tea at a time that made it nigh on impossible to get back down
And yesterday gave me NSD #3 :T
I did get a request from my chap to pick up some milk on the way to his yesterday evening (he realised as soon as he got in from his food shopping trip he'd forgotten to get any and didn't have any in his flat!) - but as that was his grocery spend I'm not counting it, even though I had to go into a shop on an unplanned trip
Also picked up the strimmer wire on my way home from work, but the money for that was put aside on Wednesday.....
Must get off my backside and go and get started on my bedroom now !!!
Still undecided on the bedding thoughThe flat sheets I got match up better than the quilt covers (mainly 'cos the covers are 'reversible' and the reverse is too much of a pale blue blue against the duck egg curtains/lighting and teal bedding), so I'm debating taking the covers back and buying more flat sheets to sew together to make quilt covers - and if I do that I can get some ribbons to sew across the front panel (before sewing the front to the back) which will jazz them up and make them more like I wanted
Just a case of finding the extra time to go and hunt down ribbons and then sew everything together

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for kitty. Been back to the vets with him this morning, seems slightly better although his temperature has gone down which shows it might not be a chest infection, (something worse). Got some more meds to take over the weekend then see how he is, so today is already a spend day. I feel so helpless because he's my mum's cat, she's in the middle of trying to sell her house and find somewhere to live, find a job and generally worrying about money anyway. Could do without him having a heart defect really! But fingers crossed for something less bad.0

Hi hun
I think we all feel helpless when we have a sick pet - regardless of whether they actually "belong" to us or not. I'm sure it's all to do with them not being able to tell us what's wrong.
Nothing looks as sick as a sick cat, they have such a way of moping around when they're feeling under the weather, I'm sure it's designed to make their humans feel guilty:)
I'm sure you're looking after him brilliantly, that's all you can do really.
Fingers firmly crossed that it's nothing too serious and a huge ((((((HUG)))))) for you xx
