    I really wouldnt thinkso.Cant see Police anywhere going to the expense of arranging lie detector test
    for a phone, was his phone not covered for accidental damage?

    I doubt it but I wish they did do lie detector tests, that way he and your mum would be caught out as the lying scheming insurance fraudsters that they are. These are the kind of people that cause insurance costs to rise exponentially for the rest of us.

    I guess he got whiplash when it was stolen too? :D

    Never lie to insurance companies, they are trained to spot liars a mile away, and especially over the phone,
    Mum could ring them again and tell them she misunderstood and then tell the truth, if the phone was insured why on earth did she lie.

    If she is found out and he has gone along with it neither of them will ever be able to get insurance again.

    And possibly criminal charges for fraud.

    Lie detectors are a crock of !!!!!! anyway. Sold to gullible power-trippers by hucksters and have never stood-up to any scientific study - Only a handfull of backward countries still have any kind of legally-supported faith in them.
