Thanks to the OP I've a 2 man tent to pick up tomorrow, my daughter and her friend will be "camping out" tomorrow night in the back garden.

Unfortunately Paisley store phoned to cancel the items I had reserved but saved me the wasted journey I guess.

But well done to those that have managed to bag the bargains and thanks to OP for heads up.

Hope you got them to pay your mileage at 35p per mile as I did in the same situation!!! I did not receive any calls and they had no reservation details for me although I had e mail, website confirmation sceenshot and mobile confirmation. This was Peterborough on Staurday, neither the stove or gas I reserved were available !

I've just called our store to double check that the 4 man tent is actually in stock and they confirmed that there is one there and read out the name that is attached to it. Luckily it's ours and will be collected later today! woohoo

Again, no reflection on the OP, but just had a similarly frustrating trip to B&Q in Watford for the '5' coolboxes the website claimed they had in stock as of this morning. Speaking to a member of staff, they were all sold over a week ago, and he's had at least a dozen enquiries about them every day since...
Do these big retailers not realise that an inaccurate reservation/stock check is actually worse than not having one at all?!

Tesco in Halifax (King Cross store) had stoves yesterday. Think they were about £9.99. The one burner ones that run off butane gas.

Thanks for this! But for anyone reading this thread, B&Q Shroggs road (Halifax) have had a delivery on Gelert stuff. I got what I was after 9the two stoves) for £5 each just walked in and got them off the shelves.

Like others on this thread, my click and reserve items were not available when I went to collect at Gloucester St Oswalds this evening. V. disapointing but still managed to pick up the last B&Q 2-man dome tent for a fiver - not the £10 Gelert pop-up I had reserved but still excellent value. There were three different make pop-ups still available, in a camouflage material, but they were £20 so not a bargain.

Respone following my complaint; Not entirely happy as five pound doesn't really cover petrol costs, but it's better than nothing.

Ordered some Camping gear Yesterday, some was home delivery, some was reserve and collect - Sleeping Bag, Inflatable Bed, Table and some A4 Gas Cans.

Got a phone call after lunch to say the Table none stock, then a phone call after 6 to say the reserve and collect stuff is NLA.

So at least I was spared the trip. Probably not much help to many that missed out but ALDI seems to have some camping stuff in ATM which is cheap (double air bed for 12 quid ish), thats my second option now! :P
