Well found myself buried in the garage on Sunday and discovered a pile of books left over from 'booting last year - result! And some eBay-able bits that need listing. Finally got round to some decorating over the w/end so not much happened on the challenge front.
Had a bit of a result today though, my RAC breakdown cover (v. expensive) ended before Chrimbo so I've been on the lookout for something cheaper. Found Greenflag through Quidco, bought a 12 month policy for £33 and Quidco have given me £20! So rather than paying RAC's nearly £90 I've got a whole years cover for the princely sum of £13! Superb
Amazon started very well (6 sales in about as many days) but not seen any action in the last few days so hoping for something there by the weekend. eBay had a few bits finish tonight (£20 or so) so that's nice - posting them tomorrow.
Changing the subject a little - has anyone had any experience of siging up for 'free trial' stuff via Quidco, grabbing the rebate then ditching whatever you signed up for before you have to start paying??? I've done a couple 'audible.co.uk' and 'lovefilm' and am wondering how it's gonna turn out?

Hi all
I've reclaimed my bank charges of £534 - :j - fantastic! A double bonus because it was HSBC whacking on £125 bank charges in October that tipped me over the edge and gave me my LBM. I'll add it to my running total when I get the money in my account.
That's the last of my expected extra money - £684 in total with the vouchers - so I'm going to have to start earning the rest of it!

Hello, I'm new here to the forum but I have been reading with avid interest the previous 'Make money from nothing' thread and now I am on this current thread on page 22 I think.
I just wanted to offer some suggestions and keep reading for some advice myself. The matched betting has gone completely over my head I'm afraid and plus I only have internet access at work and they do not allow access to any gambling sites.
I'm interested in this thread because of our struggles with childcare fees, mortgage and just trying to keep our heads above water really.
Anyway, I just thought I would offer some suggestions, hope that's ok -
As I think of any others I will let you know. I find globaltestmarket.com is better for building up points to get cash, although it does take 6 weeks to get your cash. You also earn points for not qualifying for the survey. Ipoints is a reward site where you can earn points from clicks, surveys, registering with different companies and not having to spend a penny. I tend to earn enough points and then get myself some M&S vouchers.
Just a tip for those new to YOUGOV - I joined in 2004 and still haven't quite earned the £50 minimum. I have yet to come across someone that has managed to get their £50 in less than a year.
Anyway, before you drop off from this long email. I will be in touch.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Are there any rules concerning what we do with this money? Are we meant to be keeping it all until the end?No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

The money is yours to do what you like with. Most people are using it to pay off debts. If you would benefit more from paying off a debt now, there's no reason to keep the money sitting there until the end. You can still add it to your total as the money has been used for the original intended reason - whatever that may be.0 -
Hi feeling pleased with myself, just made a £100 towards my Olympic challenge! Sounds slightly bizzare but had an interview recently miles and miles away, and the way they work out mileage in relation to what I actually paid for petrol, meant that I made a £100 profit!
I don't feel bad about this, as was a complete waste of time and involved me taking the day off work. he he0 -
Woohoo :j - sold something else on Ebay for £80
That's a nice boost to my total.
