have been taking a look at all the listings from the challenge (132 items now!) had to chuckle to myself when I saw the macdonalds vouchers listed amongst all the slimming world books!!

Question - I've estimated the postage as best I can cos I hate it when people screw you on the postage charges, but if there's a bit extra profit in there, do I add that to my total? If so I spose that would work the other way, too? (Like if it cost me more than the amount I charged)

I take the overall cost to the buyer then take off all charges (listing fee, final value fee, paypal fee and postage and paking costs) that leaves me with overall profit for the item.

sometimes I make a bit on postage, sometimes I loose out. the age old, you win some, you loose some

Got two dvd box sets today for a fiver at a local charity shop

should i list them on ebay which would get about a tenner (within a week) or on amazon where the lowest is about £13 (and they may not sell)

The ebay/paypal fees would go into the postal charge so just need to know generally if a dvd set sells for £13 how much do i get back?

Did buy a lottery ticket as well (which i know is gambling and i always say i wouldn't do gambling so feeling pretty !!!!!! about doing it)

I have just sold mine with ebay, but I see your problem at least if they are popular youll sell within the week. what are they?? incase you want a rough idea of postage I sold a 5 dvd box set and it cost me £2.38 recorded delivery

Have made about £22 on ebay and £1.50 on amazon, its not much but its a start. Got a few more things with bids on ending this week
