    Congratulations scuba

Phoned up to see when my cashback cc was due to be credited to be told £38 :j credited with this month's bill.

Have realised I'm paying for same thing 2 so will cancel one DD saving another £59.99 :j

    Savings to date £1133.99 - hope I find 1p somewhere tomorrow! :D

Drawback was having to settle bill for car with mechanic today but as it was less than 1/4 what I had estimated for damage recovery people thought it was and now fully serviced until next year and no need to do anything for MOT I'm happy. Only drawback couldn't pay by cashback card as garage just moved, so had to pay by cheque.

Just realised I've passed bronze this week! Don't think I've got a chance at silver, so may go for silver plated lol, at £1500.

Have added my months savings on petrol, saved by not using my car as much, and also some Ebay sales and savings from shopping!

Still plenty of time to get to silver - think positively!!

Does anyone know if we are doing another challenge afterwards, or are people having a break for a while? Perhaps we could have a Christmas challenge?

That sounds like a great idea, without the challenge I would never have made the money I have. I bought quite a few christmas presents in the January sale, but still have others to buy and have my other halfs birthday on the 14th December and my sisters on 27th December!!

  • a christmas challenge would be fun! any challenges taking place over septemer Ill have to be counted out of as Im away for most of it, my trip to china is from the 2nd to 20th so probably wont be doing any money saving then! (a girl can slip for a holiday!! although wont be silly)

got excited this morning as I recieved a letter from indiefield, thought it was my cheque from the mystery shop (£35) unfortunately it was for an online survey so only £2 :( never mind though it brings me to 49p under £300

woohoo I never thought I would make this much! my collegues are getting extremely jealous! Ive shared my hints and tips so they could do it too if only they could be bothered!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Is Indiefield good? Can you just sign up for it or do you have to be invited?
    Thanks xx

  • Ive had my best month since the beginning of the challenge, just logged onto my valued opinions account and see I had another £5 of cleared funds, so have requested another voucher!

Im still amazed at what we can all do if we put our mids to it! and thanks to everyone here (who are still around or have drifted off) who without I could have never achieved this amount!

(sorry for being a little soppy! :o but its true! without you guys I wouldnt have this little pot of money and would have probably spent the £300 from my wages instead! per month :o)
