A slightly bizarre ebay tip for everyone, but one that has worked for me many times. If you have an item that doesn't sell, wait a week and then relist.....at a higher price!

Sounds crazy, but it seems to be somehow psychological. People see something really good and think that because it's SO cheap, there must be something wrong with it, but are happy to pay a bit more as if it's reassuring in some way.

I sell quite expensive stuff, and this trick has worked many times. I have two items up at the moment...absolutely identical, but one is £3 more than the other....guess which one sold last night?

Oh, and I'm going to add that £300 onto my total as my challenge money is to reduce my overdraft and that's where the money has gone!

spendaholic chick - I've just caught up on the thread, and I think you're right to addthe money from your gran - its only because of the challenge that she gave it to you at that time, so go for it.

Sold an old amplifier of my dad's on ebay for £68!! Will update total once the cheque has been received and postage paid for etc.

Hope to make a small amount from matched betting today but not much else to report.

I have put 5 more things on ebay today on a 10 day listing to get hopefully the benefit of two weekend loads of peeps ready to eagerly spend their cash.

    charity shops were kinda disappointing

got a gorgeous orange fluffy Gap top for me though (trying to convince myself that it should be listed), but was only 99p so not too much of a disaster if i keep it

Sorry guys, I've been majorly slack this week and I'm going to have to temporarily duck out until next week, but I'll be back and will add anything I do make in the meantime.
