To start with, it's mind-blowing! All the info and numbers caused brain-ache and I thought I'd never understand it. Suddenly it all clicked into place, and then suddenly it's simple as anything.

I would say read the info at the beginning of the starter thread over, and over, and over, and over.....download the matcher spreadsheet and run endless examples through it - this really helped me to see how different odds created different scenarios and made it much easier to understand. NEVER try to do a bet without running it through the matcher and always ask if you've got it right before placing your first ones - there are loads of helpful people on the thread (Dan29 and misskool are the main "gurus" I'd say).

Oh and finally, stick to the simple stuff first.....98% of mine are on football. You may get some better deals on horse racing/handicaps etc, but this throws up more stuff to learn and rules to be aware of.

I'd go for it - there's loads of money to be made over time and as long as you stick to the rules, you're in no danger of losing any. I've spent very little time on it, but have made over £700 since October last year, most of that in the last month.

  • Was gonna send a home video file to You've Been Framed (you can email them in now, or even send them from your mobile if that's what you filmed them on), but its 75Mb in size, and GMail has a 10Mb limit. I doubt YBF will take the time to download the file if I host it, so I think I'll just shove it on a CD and post it Freepost to them.
