Well I was hoping for my best week yet this week but it could be turning into my worst

1 of my two buyers on ebay paid and made a total of £3.34 on that, the other hasn't paid yet but should be a similar profit (all freebies/something my mum bought me which wasn't suitable too). Hope they pay soon.

Put some left over tesco vouchers on ebay last night on 24 hour auction and have a couple of bidders and watchers, not going to be mega bucks but every little helps (literally) and saves waste which I hate.

Plan to try and get some things sorted tonight/tomorrow which I can list on Sunday night on week long listings, although the stuff I have at the moment will take a while to load so might only get a couple on there

Whhooo - hoo - I thought I would find a site to upload photos to to try and sell them.

Got to https://www.istockphoto.co.uk that a designer friend recommended and tried to register - it told me I already was registered. I sent off for my password, logged in - and the memory came flooding back - I did upload 2 photos to this site around 2 years ago!

The nice thing is - it seems I have $25 in credit, as people have bought those 2 photos over 80 times over the past 24 months!!!

Of course now I have uploaded loads more photos in the hopes that this will bring in a nice quarterly income (they only pay you when you have $100).

Nice one - highly recommend this to anyone who loves taking photos! :T

  • do they specify any requirements for the photos you upload (dimensions... resolution... etc.)?

can we see the lovely photos people have been buying? :D

Hi BangraMonkey - the photos have to be high resolution - basically the bigger, the better. IStock do all the work - once you have uploaded the photo, they then create 3 sizes from it, so the client can choose which size they need (and you earn more money the bigger the size selected). When you upload the photo, if it doesn't meet the spec, their system will tell you so which makes things very easy and non-techie :T

I don't know how to show the photos here - how could I do it?

One is from a colourful fruit stall in the centre of Barcelona (called Las Ramblas) and the other is a photo I took in Pompeii, Italy. I now have prompty added another 15 photos to the site :D

The basic (free) membership allows 15 photos to be allowed per week, so guess who is uploading another 15 next week

Hi, I've been lurking for the past couple of days and did the £400 cash back thing (can't quite believe its money for nothing - how cool is that!). The money is now tracking in my account which has given me the nudge I need to say...
    'Can I play please..?'

Put me down for a bronze initially. My next step is to dip my toe in e-bay and amazon:o
