Last week OH was not impressed that I had bought so many books at auction. Everything is now listed and have sold about 15 books this week. I tell him how much I list things for when they are impressive. Last night he brought me some of his prized books to see what they were worth and has now listed them on Amazon - a result or what!

  • I had a bit of a downer the other day that really ticked me off. I'd sold my old digicam on amazon, with a pretty good description of what its downpoints were, was definitely not selling as perfect and the truth is always better I think. It sold and I sent it then I got a bullet pointed email back from the buyer saying how they weren't happy because they didn't get a perfect camera! Very frustrating. They admitted they hadn't bothered to read the comments, they'd just seen the price and thought they were getting a cheap deal.

They returned it today and I refunded them of course (galling as I'd already counted the money in my total) and a bit more downhearted, relisted it, with some asterixes saying please read the description, this isn't new!! Well, about three hours later its sold again! It seems to be someone on active service abroad, so presumably they're not to bothered about a slight scratch and a bent cable! I might just send a quick email to check they've properly read the description before I send it. Might be a bit more problematic to return from wherever they are!!

  • Hi all,

Don't know if you've noticed but it is 5p listing on Ebay this weekend. CDs & DVDs only.

You get a free gallery image too. I think I read that you just need to put the barcode number in & it brings up the details for you, like Amazon.

Could be worth a look, especially for you Wilf55 ;)

Doh!!! Why would Wilf be interested, he's got 1000 books not CDs :o
