sold a couple of things on ebay which didn't sell for much . I will change my total once I get paid and have sent the items out.
I have listed 8 more items which I hope will do a lot better.£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
A couple of good sales on ebay will raise about £100 but two more today will clear me a couple of quid if I am lucky. I will update my totals tomorrow when I have posted them as I will then know the final amounts.
I have read through the matched betting thread once today, and will read through again tomorrow. I am getting closer to having a go......
Off now to PM my total to WOA. Don't forget to send in your totals every sunday!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I havn't found the time this week to do any money making, been catching up with things round the house that I'v let slip. So my total this week is a big fat zero. I managed to make £9.50 on matched betting last week bringing my total to £216.41. I now have the laptop back in my possetion, and managed to list a few things on ebay. It's a start but I hope to get stuck in again this week, but there evergrowing mountain is off putting to say the least. Good luck for this week everyone.0

Those sound like very small numbers - were you going for a free bet with a bookie? What did you bet on?
As an example - I have just done the coral offer. I staked £50 of my own money first at odds of 2.875/2.88 (coral/BF). That lost me £1.74 but gave me a £50 free bet. I then staked the free bet at 3/2.98 (coral/BF) giving me a return of £48.63 on the freebie. Overall profit on this MB = £48.63-£1.74 = £46.89! Coral returns the free stake with winnings (SR) so could use lower odds. If the stake is not returned on the free bet (SNR) then you need much higher odds (7+) to get the best return. Coral is a good one to start with - big freebie, SR and with no playthrough requirements to get the money out.
Feel free to PM if you like and I will try to help - am no expert but am managing the basics profitably!
Thanks! It was my first bet on betfair, I deposited £10 and just bet £2 on both sides to try out for my first time, cos I wasn't sure I had the rules right! (Plus I'd only joined for the £25 cashback via quidco!). I just dunno if I could bring myself to deposit £50!! :eek:GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

My total is now up to £849.42. OH did a sterling job clearing out the outbuildings and put lots in the auction - that made £179 - and I have more than made the £80 back that I spent on books on Wednesday with another five going out tomorrow. Seven items on ebay are finishing tonight which will hopefully take me past £1000. All good stuff.
Hopefully we may be opening a coffee shop in a few weeks and then we will be too busy to clear out and need every penny made so far! I would like all Olympians to keep your fingers crossed on Thursday as this is when we should know if we can do this and how much it will cost!!! - I do realise this may make typing difficult!!!!First Direct Loan @ 7.9% £13,076.03/£20,250

jpwhittle wrote:i have another £1.41 to add from anaother sale on amazon. does anyone know where amazon stands on sending things out late? im going away for monday to thursday and have 140 things listed on amazon. i dont want to have to take them all of but also cant post anything till friday. i can send emails to tell them this if anything sells but otherwise not sure what to do.
You can set your sales to 'Holiday settings' which will suspend all sales until you reset it on your return. It takes up to 24 hours to kick in so don't leave it until the last minute.0 -
