Well my challenge is on hold...Til I get better anyway!
    I've got a viral throat infection !!

Sending (((((hugs))))) to you. I hope you are feeling better soon. Whisky is good, unless you are not allowed alcohol - in which case gargling with salt water does give some relief.

    Take care of yourself.

I am still get harrassed by people about items I was selling last week on ebay. The original cretin who wanted to buy off of ebay is now emailing other people telling them how terrible I am, and has emailed me to tell me he would have paid more than I sold them for. I didn't realise he was unhinged!

Hi, wonder if I may ask some advice please. I have a jarful of money off coupons that I am thinking about putting on ebay but I wondered what everyone thought of the 'not for resale' comment on the back. I have a variety of coupons some for money off food items and some for restaurants, should I list them separately or put them together to create more interest? thanks caz

Thanks so much for the newsletter, it's a great read :T
I have been trawling through boxes of stuff to ebay, I have 10 stackers a very lage box, a medium sized box and a suitcase full, and could probably find more!! . I will have to try and get through a box or two a week. I'v been on the phone this morning and the laptop is ready to pick up,so time permitting I could be listing on Ebay or Amazon this evening :j

List them together otherwise you'll be paying several ebay fees.

    newsletter is great, thanks WoA!

good and bad news today, one of the items I sold in week one is being returned to me because it is 'faulty'. It's a phone, so as long as I get it back I can resell it as faulty, someone will still buy it. A pain though.

Good news is that I have five auctions ending today and four of them have bids on them! Not huge amounts of money like the rest of you seem to be getting, but every little helps!

Got a whole lot more stuff to put up today as well, so the ebay train is still rolling slowly on in Aberdeen....

(((hugs))) to you MM, hope your throat clears up soon. Nothing so painful as a sore throat and if I had the hug smiley I would use it :).

caz, sorry no idea about the not for resale, I would imagine that it would be ok but there are some strange people around and theres a chance you may get reported to ebay for it. Best 'sell' them to friends or just use them in your shopping and put the money you would have spent into the pot for the challenge. (Just my opinion)

  • Love the newsletter WOA althought disappointed to note that 2 of my ebay items were included in the Naff list :rotfl: They did sell though :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Thanks for the hugs guys!!
Lee...I am allowed alcohol, I would not touch whiskey, no matter how good it is for me....but if anyones got some baileys lurking I'll happily consume all of that!!!! Its got whiskey in so must be a bit good!!! :D I'm not buying any cause of this grocery challenge and its an unnessecary luxury...like my echinacea tea that I have a cup of every day til I ran out last week and the reason I have this blasted thing now...no immune system!!!
Might have to go and spend some of my hard earned savings though!!!

Oh yeah forgot to mention the newsletter..fantastic WOA...that logo is superb, whoever came up with that is a genius!!! ()
Seriously though, well done for all that effort. My link worked stariaght away BTW. Not sure why! Keep up the good work chap!!!
  • I've just found some money in my paypal account but not enough to transfer over, can I add to it to make the £50 then withdraw it? If so does anyone know how long that takes?
