Hey guys


Right basically i have unlimited texts but i was wondering if ill get charged, because ive nearly sent 3000 texts this month..Yes laugh but im popular :P

Best to ask vodafone themselves .... 3000 is fair usage and they might tolerate a little bit over the allowance but not much possibly.

If you phone 44555 from your mobile VF will text you back how much of your allowance you have used and possibly whats left.

If you are on a YPL plan, your texts allowance will be truly unlimited and you will be free to send as many texts as you would like.

On the older CTR plans there was a fair usage limit of 3000 texts.

If you log onto your online account, you will be able to see which tariff you are on.

If you only took your contract out in May, you will definitely be on a YPL Plan.

I wouldnt trust Customer Services, I am pretty sure they have got it wrong, if your texts say unlimited and you are on a YPL Plan, you have got unlimited texts.

If you want confirmation, do a search of the eForum, you will find it there.

I'm on a plan labelled "Y3 18IP 900M UTX 750MB WF E"

As that plan is one of our older ones, you are on a fair usage policy of 3000 for text messages. If you tend to go over, we can change you onto one of the new plans that has truly unlimited texts.
