Evening all
I'm so annoyed - BT rung me earlier today in relation to my cancellation of my phoneline and broadband ready for the move, and arranged both to be cancelled on aug12th. Get home to find my broadband is no longer activerung them and it'll take til Tues to re-connect
I am so not happy with this! They have agreed to waive the £30 cancellation fee but I'm going to take it further.
So I'll probably be MIA til I'm back online (writing this on my Blackberry but it's too small to read thread etc).
Other than that I had a good day, work kids have a fun day so chose to go swimming in the big pool here. So we dumped em there and went shopping and for lunchgot new bedding for new flat and 2 pairs of ballet pumps in sale.
Tonight my little cousins and nan are coming over. Cousins are going to be helping me put up flat pack furniture and it'll give my nan a break from looking after them. They are also going to count my money in my giant piggy bank (£1/£2 coins) and whiskey bottle (small change).
Plans for weekend - going to cardiff tomorrow to have long lunch, Ikea shopping and then to see Grease on stage
Have a good weekend all

Evening all!
Just getting ready to go to my sister's hen night. Not really looking forward to it as they are all loud and lairy, so will make my excuses at around nine
I have an early morning hairdressing appointment, 9.30, so need to be up and at 'em on time.
My sis was very emotional today. she was telling me that as soon as they have the wedding out of the way, they are going to see about buying a plot at the cemetery. Quite sobering, and I found it hard to keep calm - but I did. The last thing she needs is to worry about me crying and weeping over her problems. As I was saying to someone else earlier, I hope that they won't need it for a long time, but it certainly put my worries about affording certain things into perspective
Sorry that was a real bummer. On the other side of things, my uncle and aunt have kindly donated their gorgeous brand new jag as the wedding transport, I called them a wee while ago to find out how much ribbon I need to order, and my aunt said its all been sorted. now I know why she needed to know the colours cheme, sneaky - she will have ordered flowers etc. too if I know her, what an :A aren't people fab?
Have a lovely evening everyone, whatever you are doing.

evening everyone
am glad weekend is here, got a lot to do this weekend, sorting out stuff to go down south for DS wedding and our camping hol the week after.
Not getting stressed! DSD is now worrying that she will be bored on the camping hol.....she had the opportunity to return after the wedding, seems most of her probs is that she can't plug in her hair straighteners......not my prob OH can deal with thatoh and she wants to go round the shops in Brighton.....like they have the same shops as potteries centre in hanley, so no way am I going, dad and daughter can do bonding round the shop.,
I stay at campsite with book and wine...:D:D
Have loads of washing to catch up on, and need to sort out tins and dried stuff, pasta, rice etc to pack for hol, actually not intending to do much cooking, hoping to have one meal out a day so only need to cook breakfast and maybe sarnies etc for the other
Hope you all have a good weekend xxxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
