    morning all!

didn't get time to post yesterday or read.

Wet here this morning which we could have done without as DS2, his GF and a big group of their friends are off to the Nozstock music festival and camping all weekend. Its supposed to clear up later though - fingers crossed!

DS1 is here too - full house last night!:D nice to see him, am taking him for a much overdue haircut later.

Have had a quick tidy up - not worth doing much till the campers have gone.

I'm off to work later for a late shift and taking a HM veg curry to work for tea as its chicken curry on the menu there so I have eat all their extras but have my own curry:)

Have a great day all x

    Good Morning ladies and gentlemen,

Well I too have a grey dull sky out there today! I'm hoping it will at least stay dry so I can get the washing dry and hung on the line. I've got a busy day planned for today, loads of housework to catch up on and then do a menu plan followed by a budget plan- payday today! I'm going to be drawing out all of my wages and putting them into individual piles, I've got one of these metal and lockable bill sorter box thingies I'm hoping by sorting my money in this way I shall be come more aware of what I'm spending my money on each month!

Hoping to go and see Harry potter tonight at the cinema with my mum and sisters- it will be free for me as I drive them and they will pay for my ticket, popcorn and drink. :) I can't believe that a week of the holidays has passed already, I had also better get on with my planning for next term- A'level Physics anyone!

Hope you all have a wonderful day

    Morning All,

    Just a quickie from me.

JackieO, I hope your sunny disposition comes back soon, its funny to see you have a rant :o My online banking isn't working this morning either, and its a different bank - complete pain when that happens!

Busy day today, OH is at the Dr just now, then we are off to take DS1 to footie, OH to work, home to do a couple of bits and pieces, then to work for someone's retirement lunch - not looking forward to that, its someone I think the world of, I am quite sad to see her go, althou delighted for her - then to the restaurant with my sis to sort seating plans, final numbers etc. THEN afterwards I am off into town with my other sis and the boys to sort out the kilt hire, which I still haven't done :o oh, and I shall be breathing at some point too. Oh I almost forgot its the Hen Night tonight, just drinking at my sister's house, I won't be drinking, and some of her friends and our cousins are a bit loud and lairy for me, so I shall go and show face for an hour and then leave them to it :D

OS today, well the sun is back so I have 2 lots of washing from yesterday to hang out, and I will make dinner too. Sausaged and yorkies, not exactly summer meal but the boys love it!

Take care everyone, hugs spoons and hi fives where required.

    Morning All,

Taplady my DS2 has gone to Nozstock as well, hope it keeps fine as its very overcast here. Four big smelly boys sharing a tent ooow:eek: rather them than me

Bargainbird can I just say thankyou, the theme tune to Supergran has been running through my head since yesterday:p:rotfl:

JackieO Hope it goes ok at the bank, I am scared, very scared:eek::eek:

Well a great day healthy eating yesterday so hope it can continue today. We have friends coming around on Saturday night so I have been going through my recipes trying to find something healthy to serve that they won't notice is healthy iykwim, so going to do marinated chicken, a fruity coleslaw, green salad and new potatoes and then frozen blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Houmus and veg sticks for nibbles. Hopefully it will bee nice.

Busy day today, including a visit to Mr A and a trip to the library and post office. Only have a few bits to wash so will hang on until tomorrow.

Called to visit DD last night who has got a second interview for the job she really wants its much easier to get to more money and better for childcare so keep your fingers crossed. They are really skint at the minute so I ended up giving her back the £60 she owed me and told her to forget it. I know I am a softy but she works really hard. Also took my DGS a book called 'The Tiger who came for dinner' he loves books and being read to at the moment and especially tigers so hopefully he will enjoy it.

Have finally persuaded DH to get rid of the expensive car so will spend Saturday getting it ready, once the car loan is paid off and taking into account the insurance, tax and diesel we should save about £500 a month:eek: and the walking will do me good.

Anyhow onwards and upwards the kettle is calling. Hugs and spoons to those who need them today.

    Have a Happy Friday J x

    Morning :hello:

I was really lazy yesterday - got up, shower, went to work, came home, shower, eat, bed :D

We have to rearrange some things outside, we're putting half a patio down tomorrow. We'll do the other half when the slabs eventually turn up :D

I'll be busy making cakes, omlettes, scrambled eggs, etc. We've got 38 eggs to use up. They don't need using straight away, they keep for a few weeks but if I don't get cracking (boom boom!) we'll end buried in them. The girls are laying between nine and twelve a day at the moment.

Our neighbour is helping us out. Last week he built us some steps by the back door, tomorrow he's helping with the patio. Well, I say helping, he's doing most of the work, lol. It's what he does for a living and he can do it so much better than us. He refuses to take payment so we're going to reduce his shopping bill instead. He'll be getting loads of eggs and veg from our garden. His wife does the shopping, we've told her to let us know what's on her shopping list. If we've grown it or the chickens have laid it, we'll let her have it. She doesn't like to ask so keeps buying it all. They order online, so I'm going to keep an eye out for the Asda van and keep note of the delivery days. Hopefully there's a pattern and I can turn up three days before :D

It's nice and cool here today, I'm glad of that after yesterday. It was so hot and muggy. I couldn't concentrate so I took myself off for a walk round the ponds. It didn't help, I still spent the day entering the total sale amount into the VAT column and the customer's name into the date column :rotfl:

    Morning All

Grey and overcast here, but I hope it will brighten up later, it was such a lovely day yesterday.
Went to the garden centre yesterday afternoon and got a lot of plants that had been reduced because they looked a litttle jaded. I got 3 fushias, 3 geraniums, a pineapple sage, a whitecurrant bush, jalopeno pepper, chilli plant and a camomile plant for less than £5 :D they have to planted today so I will have a slow potter in the garden in a mo and decide where they are all going. I think that I will do a hanging basket with the fushias and geraniums, the chilli, jalepeno, camomile and pineapple sage can go in the herb raised bed and the whitecurant with the red gooseberry bush.

Other than that I have no real plans for today - I will probably do another load of washing just to keep on top of it.

empy........ enjoy Harry Potter - I thought it was really good. As for A level physics .
I have envelopes for sorting my money out and a massive bottle for coins which currently is running at £530 so far this year :D that will be going towards my new french doors :D

    Have good days all x

Today at the moment I'm not a happy bunny.I have tried 6 times to get to my online banking and although I keep putting the correct info in and all the boxes keep getting ticked it keep throwing me out again Grrrr I am going to have a few choice words to say to the bank this morning HSBC and their bl**dy key I will tell them where to deposit it if I don't get satifaction this morning The reason I have online banking is so I don't have to trail over to queue up to speak to some moronic 12 year old lad who wants to sell me insurance.Sparks will be flying today.Ringing them up was a waste of time and money as wellI am not sitting in a queue for half an hour, not when its costing me money

fantastic :rotfl:this made me laugh but if was behind the counter in that bank i would be very afraid

thankyou for all your support and good wishes for DD she is doing really well at the moment , there is an awful lot going on on FB regarding this poor boy dont think thats a good thing , there is a lot of speculation

found a farm shop near by, expensive but excellent quality , wondering if its too expensive i was looking at the fortnightly meat boxes - WHAT DO YOU THINK
