I've wanted one for a long time now so it's not a whim (sp).
I have got the money for it if I was to purchase it. It just means it wouldn't go towards the debts and that makes me feel guilty! :undecided

I had the money for it put I'm getting into bad habits again.
The plan is, the day I'm paid, pay whatever I had left over in my account to my debt. But I'm not doing it. I'm keeping 'just in case' which results in me wasting it! :wall:
I take my last post back!!!!!! £190 as well as £400.... Oh mi god! You deserve putting in the stocks and a public flogging.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

You seem to be posting on this thread less and less, daily spends and general stuff. Its easy to avoid confessing if you are getting into bad habits (I know, I'm doing it too) but it might help. When you say 'just in case' to yourself, give yourself a slap and think, 'no - pay off the debt!'Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. You can imagine one of your harem doing the slapping instead, if that helps make it more appealing!

How about putting off the £400 purchase for a bit until you have made enough matched betting profits to pay for BOTH things - that way you have something to work towards, and you are getting yourself back into good habits again?
You've come a long way, but have been doing it for quite a long time, and it must feel like a long hard (steady....) slog, but you will get there.
We spent about 5 or 6 years repaying our debts (£17k) when we first got married, and you get to the point where you're so fed up of the constant lack of money, not going out, not having any treats etc. There's no easy answer, you just have to keep your head down and keep going, and you'll get there eventually."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

This is a perfect example of why minimum payments are so bad! When I first came here my min payments were £750+ a month. This month they are £557. £200 less than when I started!
Maybe I need to pay the extra at the start of the month! :undecided0 -

SS,
My guess is it's a bait boat you're after, have you seen the price of Badgers? They're not far from us and some unscrupulous person is selling "rejects" in the local pubs. I've never been tempted because our casting is just sooo accurate :rotfl: not that the hawthorne hedge on the opposite bank would agree0 -

Yeah I've looked at them but aren't too sure about them! :undecided
As you know with angling you pay for what you get! I replaced [STRIKE]all[/STRIKE] most of my float fishing gear today. Got all my stuff knicked towards the back end of last year and did a major upgrade of stuff!0 -
Come on SS - you are an inspiration. You are one of the main reasons I perservered with my DFW journey. I would have given up but for your inspiration. Get a grip man! You can do it!!!!!!!!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
