so annoyed! I went in store today, picked up some dresses and tops, not one of them was in the blooming sale! I was not impressed as the signs say 50% off tops, dresses etc including sale items! left the whole lot at the till. Grrrr

    totally misleading instore
    am really cross
so ambiguous as to whats in the 1/2 price, some items go through at the discounted price when scanned, others it took the discount off at the end

i am cross that swim trunks i bought for my son weren't reduced although it clearly says swimwear on the signs

The CS assistant told me the items with the square reduced sticker on weren't in the promotion but other sale items that had writing on as the reduced price were. Ridiculous.

I gave up and went instore. Even then when I was asking the SA's if particular things were in the sale they didnt have a clue and said you'll have to scan it and check. Can't work out how their sale is working. I bought 3 pairs of sandles, the flatties in leather with ruffles down the front, in gold, pink & white. The normal price was £15 a pair so total £45. Paid £10.50 for the 3, so something was glitching somewhere as it was more than 75% off, not complaining though:T

Just checked out the sandals online that I bought. They are the flower sandal and should be reduced to £12 from £15, so half of that is £6 in the sale, but they are working at at £3 something instore!!

i think we should rename you:T
NOT everything she touches turns to gold but eveything she touches turns to a glitch!!!:rotfl:

None of the sale stuff was half price in my local one. The assistant said they don't know what's half price even! So annoyed I wasted my time.

Id just like to warn everyone buying clothes instore to check your reciepts. I bought loads of summer items that were already reduced & expected to get a further 50% off the sale price but some items were going through at original price with a 50% discount so I didnt get the full reductions. This was corrected once I went to customer services desk tho.
Good job I checked before leaving the store as 5 of my 15 items didnt go through on correct price or give correct discount.

    I bought a sleeveless blouse.
Was £8, already in sale at £5, and as soon as I scanned it at the till it showed as £2.50 - bargain.:p
But other items I scanned did not reduce - eg socks and pants.
Theses were not listed on the boards as being part of the 50% off, so I was 'hoping' it would work, but not terribly surprised when it didn't..... although sa was puzzled and seemed to think it should be 50% off - but perhaps she hadn't read the board in as much detail as me:cool:
Perhaps this is a case of using the self scan and if it doesn't automatically show the 50% off per each item as you scan it, asking sa to cancel.

the cs was lying i bought a load of swimwear from my local most of it was different to the label prices but the actual 50 percent discount shows in a box below which none of it was in the cs gave me the difference but wouldnt honor the double the difference claiming swimwear wasnt included it was a misprint and i was lucky to get anything, so i checked the items online and they were in it so i phoned up customer services who are sending me a gift card out for the dtd, i bought 12 items of swimwear in total yesterday between 2 stores and paid £2.20 for it all
