    Good Morning x
Busy morning as Ds3 birthday but he is a happy boy so Im happy too:T

Hugs to Lou. I had a falling out with my family just after my grandmother's death as they behaved abysmally. I celebrated my Nanny's life quietly in my local church at the same time as her funeral and it was the best way for me. Sometimes we just have to do what feels right at the time x

Got a few jobs to do today and washing galore.
Kids Dad and I made lasagne for tea so easy to pop in the oven.
    Have a good one x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon all

My boss ordered me to take the afternoon off work :o apparently I looked as tired as I felt when I saw her this morning! :rotfl: The weather didn't really improve so work kids collected up all the tools and took them back to storage and then did some paperwork til lunchtime.

So I'm writing this from bed, going to try and relax for few hours. Got some magazines and yummy food to help me.

    Hi everyone,

Sistercas, I'm sorry you have had such bad news. Please be aware that DD might be affected for quite a time and she might not even realise it. I'm speaking from experience of a similar thing - a friend of my DD who jumped into the sea from Bournemouth Pier one New Year's Eve. I still feel sick when I think of it.

I'm not going to stay on long because I'm looking round the room at the piles of junk that need sorting and I've got an ironing pile the size of Ben Nevis. I've been very self-indulgent this week and the house is starting to suffer. I'll pop back later if I have time.

    Afternoon All

Sorry to be MIA, but PC was playing up a little, so I was running all the checks. Seems my laptop mouse is not quite behaving itself, so have put on a real one for now, will play with it later.

Belated :bdaycake: Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Silvermaid we hit the same number in November:eek::eek:
:bdaycake: All missed birthdays and Mollys DS3 today

sistercas - hope DD is OK, prayers for his family.

Lou sorry to hear about your Grandma. Families!!!

Been having a bit of a tidy up today, but now bored with it:o Need to get into a spare bedroom and have a blitz, but now awaiting DH putting some bags in the loft so I can get in there and start. BM been on. Washed the Autumn quilt from the spare bedroom, as now that just has the summer on on.

DS & GF home this weekend for a wedding. House purchase is progressing steadily, awaiting extra survey results, and solicitors now, they have now received the contracts from the sellers solicitors. Seems an email went round at his work for anyone interested in this, which he was, and CEO picked out his profile, and he has to have meeting with the CEO of his Business Unit, and the Chief Executive of the Company as they are considering sponsoring him for it. Not a shy retiring sort :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j. Fingers crossed please. Now is hoping to get the flat purchase finished in 3 weeks so he is clear to go to Switzerland if they sponsor him.;)

Found some duck eggs on market on Tuesday so having one of those with a couple of crispbreads for breakfast, lunch was apple, celery, mackerel, Roquefort Cheese, and Mayo all mixed together. Must go and raid the freezer for my tea. DS has a couple of Lamb & Mint Sausages left. Need to get my thinking cap on.

Started reading Harry Potter again, as had not read the latest book, and it was ages ago since I read them, finished the first one, and then watched the dvd last night, boy it had real holes it in, though does cover the story well, but would not be as easy to follow without reading it.

Made the invites to my 60th BBQ next month and started issuing them, it does clash with a lot of holidays ;)

    Take care all - DG
