What is the best way to remove candle wax?

Put it in the freezer in a plastic bag, the wax will contract as it freezes and if not drop off, come away easily.

Chip off as much of the wax that you can, then put the stick into a plastic bowl. Cover with very hot water and the max will melt off.

Polish the stick and ditch the water into an outside drain straight away, as when it cools, the wax will solidify again
