What is the best way to remove candle wax?

I know you've done it now, but a great way to get wax out of a holder is to put the holder upside down in the freezer overnight - it just pops itself out and you don't have to do the melting thing.0

My candle has finished but I want to get the remainder of the wax out of the glass holder without damaging it, any tips? xxxxHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0

I use a butter knife so as not to damage the glass or any of my decent knives!

A friend bought me a lovely chrome candlestick holder (5 candles) and I used it, just dont know how to get the blooming wax off it, cos it looks awful now,
any advice greatly appreciated

Warm it up in the oven gently to melt the old wax (put some paper towel underneath to catch the wax), make sure you wear oven gloves so as not to burn yourself and wipe all you can off, and repeat the process until you have most of the wax off, after that you'll be able to polish them as normal.0
