Perhaps the business is not held in high esteem. They certainly talk a good deal, but if the website software is blocking them, perhaps there is a reason.

No, you wouldn't need to top up an extra £5.
It would come from your credit balance.
So, if you top up £10 and £5 is used to pay for BIS, the remaining £5 can be used to buy the 100 minute extra. Your balance reverts back to exactly what it was before the £10 top up as you've used up £10 credit, but you haven't added an extra £5 top up. Make sense?
To buy the 100 minute extra, you simply text MINS 5 to 6620. This will deduct £5 from your credit balance immediately and you've got 100 minutes to use in the next 30 days. You'll get a text message to confirm the minutes have been added. If you use them all, further minutes during the lifetime of the extra (30 days in this case) cost just 5p each from your credit balance. Much better than their standard PAYG rates.

I am in a similar situation with a 24 month BB9700 contract with Orange coming to an end shortly. If I top up by £10 a month, then what do I need to do to pay the £5 BIS charge from the credit balance? I should add that my phone was purchased from CPW and it is unlocked so I am not restricted to Orange: that said, Orange/T-Mobile coverage is good in my area. Thanks.0 -
You just need £5 credit on your phone, ring 450 which is customer service for Orange payg customers and tell them you want the Blackberry service adding.0

I have been using the latest Tmobile offer...top up £10 and you get free BIS and internet for 6 months.
One thing good is that currently if you top up £10 you get 100 minutes to use cross network for the beginning of next month.
which is why IMO the Tmobile will give you more value every time you top up £10.
Except setting up the account with them I had a few difficulties and you get charged for listening to your voice mail.0
