So I'm thinking of putting them on for 3 days, or even just 1 day (although as a buyer, i would wonder why someone would have put it on for 1 day only and I would be a bit suspicious!!) I guess I could just write in the listing that I just need them gone. I'm thinking that things like clothes that there are thousands of on Ebay, a lot of people just look at what is ending soonest to try and grab a bargain. So if I list for 3 days rather than a week, then they will finish twice in a week, so more people may see them. Even more if I list for 1 day??
What do people think about that plan?

Sounds like a good idea to me Monkeynut :) It would never occur to me that someone had put something on there as a quick listing for a reason, can you see how long people have listed for?

I'm always looking for someone to carboot with too, DH really isn't a fan and DD is only 5 and if we wake her up at 4am she'd be a nightmare  so I normally drag DS with me, he's 8 and absolutely loves the whole idea of a carboot and selling his old stuff for money for new stuff. Teaches them good values at least :D
I need to carboot soon too, missed the last two weekends due to being poorly and now I don't think I can do the next 3 due to working :(

ps - all inspired by monkey nuts post I've just listed a few things on ebay on 99p listings. I have made sure I put enough postage on them this time :o:D

I sell photo's, baby clothes, books, clothes and shoes (these are my best sellers)
Toys, ornaments etc sell but not as wel.

I was a bit cheeky last month, i scoured the charity shops nd bought items at 10p (baby clothes, nic naks etc) and they sel for 99p at least (89p profit) :T

Don't forget you are charged eBay and PayPal fees too, be careful you don't end up out of pocket and in trouble with HMRC. I know its said often and don't want to sound like a grouch but buying to sell is considered a business and if caught you will be in trouble

I don't know about everyone else but i am loving reading through all these posts - some fabby dabby ideas so thanks to everyone for sharing :D and a big well done to everyone too - it seems to be going well for the whole team huh?

My turn then to share then - i completed my first ever mystery shopping assignment yesterday :j went to a fast food outlet and felt like a total ejit testing to see if the frys were limp or not :rotfl: i completed my paperwork and all that last night so i am hoping i have done everything right!!

I've also been clicking away on my ptc sites and have almost £20 gathered up in them and completed 2 wee short surveys today for £1 (but not adding till i get the cash through) oh and i have a claim due in from a gpt site for $10 in a few days - by the way are we allowed to post any links on here? i am happy to recommend sites but don't want to break the forum rules etc....

I keep meaning to do an ebay day but i just hate that site now and it annoys me even going onto it :( i will have to challenge myself to do some listings i think.......

Oh and here is my new one - i added 15p to the pot today from OHP (other halfs pennies) - i have told my other half if he leaves pennies sitting around i am nabbing them to put them in the pot ;) don't tell him i nabbed a 5p too :p

sooooo let me count up..... now got £258.37/310 :j

I am delighted with my progress i have to say - its been so much easier than i thought (so far anyway LOL)

    Hey Everyone,

We had a lovely day today :D Paid £9.95 each for me and DS1 to get into Eureka, (DS2 went free as he's under 3) it's quite a lot to pay for one day, but pretty good for a year's pass. I'm planning on going at least twice in the next year, maybe more, so I think that it was pretty reasonable - it also means that I've got the option of a free day out whenever I need to keep the kids entertained on the cheap!

We took a picnic so didn't have to buy food there (although we did get an ice cream each). We also found a little science experiment type toy in the gift shop at £3.50 that I'd seen online and was planning on buying anyway (£4 on Amazon!), so think I did pretty well today, considering how much days out usually cost me!

Oh, and I've got some money to add - £33 from selling some garden bits - should have been added yesterday but I forgot! I didn't think I'd do too well this month, but the money seems to be trickling in steadily :)
We all seem to be doing pretty well at the moment - it would be lovely if we all managed to hit target this month! :)

    £119.76/£310.

£10 to add for me from a cupcake sale. I've been waiting for nearly a month for Valued Op to pay out-seem to be stuck on £9.25 and I've done so many surveys in this time. Also anyone have trouble with SurveyFriends? I won a voucher back in May and still havent had it. Had an email stating it had been sent to my correct address-that was nearly a month ago too. I keep sending email but get no reply... :(
