Some survey people just been to my door and ask if i would answer some questions on mouthwash and i would get a voucher for some. Since i'm sat in the house doing nothing but feeling sorry for myself i did it. The weather is rubbish (really bad rain) so i invited them in rather than stand at the door. Made the young lady a cuppa tea and did the survey which took around 15 minutes. I was only expecting a voucher for a bottle of mouthwash and didn't realise it was actually a £5 highstreet voucher.... and because i made her a cuppa she gave me another £5 voucher to thank me for being so nice. She has had a lot of doors slammed in her face today by the sound of it.
So good result all round. The vouchers will come in very for my nephews birthday gift at the end of the month so i'll add it to my total.Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Wow, everyone's doing so well :T
Got another £43.26 from matched betting which takes me to £157.62 and would mean I had made my original £5 a day target so am going to try the £10 a day instead (should have not been such a wuss at the start lol!) which means I'm about half way there0 -

I've got the right face on, just walked to the post office to post ebay parcel and I've somehow managed to under estimate the postage by a huge £4.67.. don't ask how, cos I don't know. And considering the item was only £2.20 to start with, I am now minus £2.27 and have lost loads of decent clothes!
Lesson learnt, official ebay boycott till I actually learn how to calculate postage accurately.
sweet x
Awww, that just rubbish. Dont let it get you down, put it down as a lesson learned. I wasnt going to tell anyone this as i felt toooo stupid but am hoping it might cheer you up as your not alone....i sold something on ebay that I never imagined would ever sell and then got so excited that it had and was marked as paid on ebay, I posted it off, all happy with myself and then check paypal and realised they had only paid the item value and not the postageDuh! They didnt email to say they wanted to collect and I ended up losing out too. Put me off ebay for a few days!!
Good news on the 2nd job :j
i'll cheer you both up here - I sold something on eb*y last week to value of £11.03 and for some reason I posted it without receiving payment (i'm blaming baby brain)
Needless to say 5 days later still no sign of payment0 -
Stuck my snout in to see how everyone's doing & update my figures for last weeks amount ......
I'm feeling very left out ..... am I the only one who's not received their Clubcard Vouchers yet ?
Steady start for me at £ 131 for OT last week ... but will have to put thinking cap on for remainder of the month as won't be getting those kind of extra hours again for a while
Seems like everyone's having a reasonable start to the month ... let's hope we all hit our targets !!
