Am on a massive Ebay mission at the moment as we are trying to get everything in order as we are moving house soon, and I really do not want to have to pack up unwanted stuff that I'm sick of by now, some of which at the bottom of the Ebay boxes has been there since we moved in here in the first place.
Loads of clothes now that I'm not fussed about what I get for them, and if it wasn't for the money making being so ingrained in me now, I would have taken them down a Charity shop or Freecycled them by now!

So I'm thinking of putting them on for 3 days, or even just 1 day (although as a buyer, i would wonder why someone would have put it on for 1 day only and I would be a bit suspicious!!) I guess I could just write in the listing that I just need them gone. I'm thinking that things like clothes that there are thousands of on Ebay, a lot of people just look at what is ending soonest to try and grab a bargain. So if I list for 3 days rather than a week, then they will finish twice in a week, so more people may see them. Even more if I list for 1 day??
What do people think about that plan?

I would just take them all to a bootfair but it's a bit difficult as I don't drive, so OH has to come too, which would be fine he's happy to, but means having someone to have our son, which early on a Sunday morning I feel bad to ask anyone! Think we will just have to soon, although we are waiting until the start of next month when we find out whether we're expecting a boy or a girl, as if it's a girl we can sell all of my sons old baby clothes that we have been storing :D That would free up tonnes of space!

Do you mind if I ask about the photos? I've taken some reasonable photos at times - is it possible to sell the prints of these? :)

That's a good idea DD, charity shop is happy, you make a few extra quid and the buyer is happy with their bargain :D Good thinking :)
Thing is round here, there's loads of charity shops and none of them seam to have anything decent at a decent price, I've been in before looking for bits of clothes for the kids but there isn't anything really :o

DD has grown out of just about every top/tshirt she had so I'm trying to find her something decent off ebay to no real avail cos it seams to be all mixed bundles and she does have plenty skirts/bottoms etc.

Anyway, progress on the second job :) The lady who's looking for a cleaner called me today to arrange to go and have a bit of a trial run Thursday. She's looking for 2 hours midweek then 2 hours at the weekend so ties in nicely and will be around £25/week that I can bring out and stash away towards a family holiday next year. Cos I dare say with the cost of going to visit Santa in December (sssh, don't tell the kids :D ) we won't be able to afford anything next Summer unless I get stashing now.

Have just requested £30 in vouchers from consumer pulse, will add to my total once they arrive.
Tesco shop just arrived, saved £8.45 on offers and used money off code, plus they have substituted some things and they sent some more expensive items but as they price match i saved another £7.07 :D and they also sent me an extra 4pt of milk for free (their mistake ;)) saving another £1.

    Total saved today = £16.52
