Just used a £20 off Tesco voucher so I'm using the money saved for something more important! And taking lolly's advice and adding my DD rebates :)

  • Right guys, I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.....Whilst clearing up today, I found 15 euro's and about 10 dollars. I think i've got about 20 pounds worth of currency there, but I don't know where to exchange it on the high street? Do most places have a minimum amount you can exchange, and what are the charges like? I've had a look online but I couldn't find the information. Please help, this is two days worth of money!!!!

Just found a thread with a few suggestions... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3252200

The thread is specifically about euros, but some answers may be equally relevant (apparently eBay is a good option?).

The idea of spending them in shops such as M&S seems a good one - you will know in advance how much you would get as most price tags have the prices in Euros already on them - you just need to work out how good a deal it is to spend them that way.
  • Eeeek! just told my mate about MS and he was bang on it, signed up straight away, now i feel like i don't want him to get more jobs than e! so, we agreed we will motivate each other to make money! so basically we have a target each week, lol its so funny! but feels good!

Hope everyone is making money, i don't have anything more to add as yet, but have done some ms and have 2 more booked, 2mo and mon, so will do as soon as they pay!

£5.05 in the change jar...won't take it to the bank just yet, but am going to add it to the total. And £9.40 from a cheque I'd forgotten about and then found again! Phew! The total creeps steadily up!! :)
Edit: Another £25.04 from a competition win. Just need to keep the foot down and this month could go very nicely indeed! I really do like this challenge!

Good job I was busy with lots of jobs last month as it appears no one wants to give me any money on Ebay this week! :(
