I have £5 from a scratchcard win and 5p roadkill to add for yesterday.

Just on the phone to Southern Electric for rebates of overpayments of DD monies from the last six months. Do we think that counts or not?

    Cheers, Matt

Edit: Just so I don't forget I'm adding writing it here! £79.02 Added to total or not?

  • Checking in with £155 after postage from eBay. However Last months fees are due at the end of August so I will have to pay £28 out. Bt i'll tally everything up at the end of the month. For now, lets just call it £155.
    • Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746
    • Original redemption date: August 2043
    • Current redemption date: July 2041
    • Debt: £15,930
    • Savings: £12,430
  • Oooh am going to start looking for "roadkill" ive just signed up to a lot of the surveys too. Don't think I can start with the £10 a day or even £5 or even £3 as I am DFW in a bad way at the moment. Got some stuff on ebay though at the moment and will see what goes on with these surveys ! Great posts though and good luck everyone xx

Had to travel to a different store today for a meeting with my boss. Because it's in the opposite direction to my store from my house I claimed expenses so £5.55 to add today.

Got a few items on eBay which end tonight but so far only one bid of 50p. I did only pay 1p for the item a few years ago so I would say that it's a pretty good profit! Will ad to my total once I get the money in.

No normally I would have just paid out at the ice cream van - so thanks for replying. It might seem like a really obvious saving to some but this is not the way that I am used to living so it is going to take some getting used to.

It is a big change in lifestyle. I used to be terrible for wasting money or spending it when there were much cheaper alternatives available, it does take a bit of time to get into it (I'm still working on it now). You seem to be making a great start though, as I probably would have ended up buying them at the ice cream van :o - the lazy sod that I am, lol.

    I would count that. :)

Well I have 77p to add today. Was shopping in Tesco with DS1 when he felt hypo (Type 1 Diabetic) so gave him a couple of glucose tablets and promised to treat him to something from Greggs when we'd finished shopping (they have one in the same building).
He chose a doughnut but ended up dropping it on the floor  so I went back to get another one, mentioning what had happened. I started to get my money out but the girl behind the counter told us we could have it for free because he'd dropped it by accident and we had already paid once. :D
  • £4 of Co-op vouchers, and downloaded a £5 Hobbycraft voucher before I went shopping today, so £9 to add. Hurrah!
