hypno, spooky you should say that about the old tax returns, as I can't find my last year's one either. Every year I file the tax return in a different place. One of these days I must hunt them down and put them together.
I'm very impressed you've both done such good work. I've posted the stuff now and also booked us in for a weekend at my sister's in the summer. I'm really looking forward to that, they have a lovely big garden backing onto a nature reserve and I hope the weathers nice so we can just chill there.
Anyway - of course that was a displacement activity and what I have to do now is PHONE THAT TRICKSY WOMAN. Will check in again in another hour or so.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
You phoned her yet?
I've tidied up some more - recycled lots of paper I don't need and filed quite a bit. Now need to cancel my Marie Clare sub before they charge me and also do a couple of admin bits. Also need to cook the kids lunch and pack up the ebay stuff still! Going out about 2pm to storytime at the library and will also pop to the PO too.
We're all doing well

Ooooh, so busy I forgot to check on here at 11, that's a good sign.
I'm just off to the post office with my tax return and an Amazon parcel. My mum brought round some books yesterday and 3 have already sold! I urgently need to find a source of bubble-wrap, I'm running out of packaging to recycle.
Then will come back and make a phone call I've been putting off to a horrible bullying woman who has badly let me down... I need to bully her in fact. Then will edit an article which is my favourite kind of work.
Good luck with the 'whatever'! I'll check in at 12 and see how you're getting on.
If u get time (or if u don'y shop online), get some bubble wrap from the supermarket. I always get some when I go in, all the bags of apples/pears etc come in boxes, with bubble wrap between each layer of bags.

Thanks Sarah for the top tip! I like the idea of sending off my books in apple-scented bubblewrap!
Just having a little smile thinking of Sea at the library right now, probably singing 'Wheels on the Bus' with the other mums while the toddlers range around the place and throw books on the floor.
Well after going into procrastination overdrive I finally phoned that woman at 2pm and guess what - she's not there (slacker) so I have to do it again tomorrow. But I followed through with two more calls I've been putting off, so that's a relief.

Hi Seaxwyn, I hope you have had a reasonable couple of days.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi hypno, Thanks for checking in.
I've had a reasonable couple of days, picked up a big piece of work from one of my regular clients, which is nice apart from worries about how I'll actually fit it in!
I'm stressing at the thought of the impending holidays. I will have to work hard throughout and I find that really hard to do with the children in the house. I am thinking of insisting I take over the 'garden office' (aka shed) from OH but he will really hate this, I don't know if it's worth the battle.
Also I'm trying to get him to organise the repairs after our recent flood. The insurance company will pay, we have someone lined up to do it, and I'd really like it done before the holidays and the DDs' birthday party. But he's dragging his feet over every detail.
AAAARGH! Thinking murderous thoughts.
Moneysaving wise, I am very likely to have to use my 18% NatWest overdraft - unless a cheque arrives very soon.
What else. Pre-teenage daughters are in mega sulky mode, littlies are scrapping, and I think I've got RSI in my finger which makes typing painful.
So all in all feeling I'm feeling sorry for myself and need to snap out of it and get some positivity. I do have lots of work which is every DFWs dream, just need to get through it and get that income rolling in.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
What a lot you have got on your plate!! I am sure you don't know whether you are coming or going! I am sure the money will start rolling in soon, and everything will fall into place.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
