Everything sounds brilliant and like it's coming together and at least your OH is on board now which is great.0

That sounds good, Seaxwyn - especially "lots of work for both"! And brainstorming new ways to raise money always gives a good feeling.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks for kind thoughts everyone. Yes I am trying to focus on work, which is very necessary as I have taken on too much!
I had a good day yesterday - went to meetings with two new clients, both of which I liked a lot. Met up with my designer colleague and looked at options for joint marketing. He is going to design me a logo! I've never felt the need to be a brand before.
But I need to be more professional and stop muddling along. I had a wake up call this week when after spending half the day on Facebook I had to stay up to 5AM to finish a job - and sent it off full of errors and knowing that I could have done much better had I given it my full attention at the right time.
Moneywise things are really tight. Neither of my accounts has enough in it to meet this month's standing orders, and there will be a delay before I get paid for all the jobs I'm working on now.
I'm doing a carboot this Sunday - a friend kindly let me take the contents of his dad's flat, as his dad has moved into a nursing home. Of course he's taken the personal and valuable items, but I have the remnants of a stranger's life stacked up in my house right now.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Woah. That does sound like a wakeup call. Along with a stranger's stuff in your flat too. You sound very sobered. But you can use that energy, you know, focus it. I need to take my own advice of course - I *do* work hard, but its on stuff that brings in pennies rather than pounds. Good luck with it, Seaxwyn.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
