Any post that starts like that is going to be good! It sounds great - from the clearout to the celebration of the Old Ways. Old ways made new again, indeed. I hope the thing at the post office, and the London one, both go the way you want them to go.

Just heard that I didn't get the job I went for. I'm relieved but annoyed that I put myself through the humiliation of being rejected. Oh well, one last grrrrr and move on to better news.

My other client - the one I was dreading seeing as I have left work undone - has not only forgiven me but given me more work, and, best of all, the use of a desk in their office to do it. I think this will help a lot with making sure I actually get the work done.

I can't believe my luck that no matter how many times I mess up on a contract, I keep on being given new ones. I really must have a lucky star.

Also I got asked to do some consultancy for a tv production company. Unpaid but I will be wined and dined and have flattering attention paid to my views. I used to do this kind of thing a lot but haven't for a long time. It makes me feel better about myself and I'm only just now realising what a bad couple of years I've had for general self-esteem and happiness. Hope that period is past.

fab news hon, and the desk does sound like a good idea, i know only to well that home is not the best place to get work done! mind you for me at the moment anywhere with internet access is not the best place to get work done!!! Atleast it will keep you focused and you'll want to get done and get home again.
And welldone on the fab weekend to, i keep doing little bits but could do with a blitz really, can you send some of your inspiration in this direction?
