one of the BK's next to me is scruffy - i dont know how they get away with it to be honest
I went off Burger King after the young chap serving me one day had absolutely filthy fingernails. He couldn't possibly have washed his hands (or anything else) for at least a day, the dirt was embedded deep down...yuk! I couldn't face the burger he'd given me, even though he'd only touched the box it was in, and not the actual burger.
And if you stood at the far end of the counter, you could see into the kitchen area, the floor was covered with bits of dropped food...it looked awful.0 -
Haven't you noticed how all BK places smell.Everyone smells the same and it is disgusting. It just smells 'dirty' and they really are grubby.I want money..........that's what I want !!:j0

Macs isn't any better. My son works there. He was physically sick at work one day and they wouldn't let him go home they just sat a bin next to him and told him to be sick in it. Yuk! Another time when he was sick there they made him wait an hour before going home. Would you want him serving your food?
Funny he's never been sick as often as when he's been there and eaten their food.0 -
Ooh you've all put me off eating at McDonalds and BK - I lurve the chicken royales as well. Not that i've been there that often. I have to say that the various mcdonalds that I visited in Hong Kong were spotless, and the staff remove your rubbish instead of you taking it to the bin.0

Is it true that Mcdonalds milkshakes are actually made from whipped up lard? Someone told me that once and I havent been able to touch one since!I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!0 -
They come out of the same machine as the ice cream for McFlurries so I doubt it... unless their ice cream in general is.0

Eliza252,
I think the rumour about MD milkshakes was that they couldn't try and market them as "suitable for vegetarians" because they contained chicken fat. That was enough to put me off them which is a shame because I did enjoy their shakes. If anyone does know the truth of the matter I'd be glad to hear....and then the window licker said to me...0 -
does anyone know if mcdonalds have any sort of reward scheme for their staff in terms of receiving positive feedback?

Don't their name badges have stars on them that they can gain or something? Not sure if that's from receiving positive feedback or just for general good work.
(I might be getting McDonalds mixed up with the Disney Store.)0
