How do I bake a cake in my breadmaker?

I line mine with baking paper and a little butter. Also at a guess I would substitute 2oz of flour for cocoa powder but as I say I haven't tried it yet.
I also don't have a loaf tin and find the breadmaker convienient. Also I think it uses less power to work a breadmaker than have the oven on if your not baking anything else at the time.0 -
I have never really got on well with my breadmaker...just use it to make dough sometimes when I am busy...took my stupid pills this am so can I ask if you leave out the mixing paddle when making this cake....sometimes fancy just making a cake but am reluctant to turn on big oven to do so, so would be one use for the BM!
TIA
