How do you repay your credit card?

I have DDs set up to pay off all my cards in full each month. Don't understand why you would have anything else set up, frankly, unless you've got a 0% deal. If something's wrong with the statement there's plenty of time to query it before the DD goes out.0

I never use DD, on principle and for practical reasons.
I like to choose exactly what I pay, from which bank account, and when. If the CC makes a mistake, they cannot access my current account. So any fraud (eg £6800 of fraudulent transactions on a dormant account while I was overseas) is contained to that account without any knock on effect. If I'm paying interest, I want to pay as soon as I can, not have cash hanging around to back a DD when it gets taken. Same applies when using Zero to obtain cash overseas.
If the CC offers the facility, I pay by on their website by debit card. Else I send the money from my current account by internet banking. I don't use CCs that don't have an online system of some sort.0 -
Full balance by DD for me, have had no problems in several years * several cards.
Any disputes can be sorted in advance by reading the statements ("the balance of £123.45 will be taken by direct debit on 4th of NextMonth"), and the DD guarantee covers any abuse under the system, so I don't see the advantage in relying on myself to make manual payments multiple times a month.0 -
I pay by Debit card and Online banking each month, i did miss one a few months ago and with the default charge i went over the card limit! I think i might set up the DD to pay the minimum each month then pay extra off the more expensive ones0
