Wow, speechless really.
I think he needs to ask her outright, surely if it was all innocent she would have told him about the extra accounts?0 -
Seems a bit odd to me.
How can you earn enough money to not notice amounts going into various accounts, and not even bother to check where it is going?Per Mare Per Terram0 -
If she is hiding money in other accounts prior to her leaving him she will have to supply at least 12mths bank statements to solicitors when the finances are sorted. The solicitor can request an even longer period if there is a possibility she has been squirrelling away money..
He needs to start getting as much eveidence as possible and keeping it at a friends or at his work place.0 -
If everything was above board she would have told him0

Cor blimey vicar,
!!!!!!, how can you be so dumb as to let this happen, Hello wake up and smell the coffee she is taking the pee big time and is about to do a Shirley Valentine on him !0 -
Just a word of advice as well, when you are signing up on forums like these, and especially posting information like this - don't use the same username as other websites.
Google'd your name instead of another word by mistake, and I have pictures of every holiday you have been on and your whole family!Per Mare Per Terram0 -
I think it is quite simple really.
All he has to do is to say to her that he has lost track of all the money they have and can they both sit down together and go through and make a list of everything.
If the accounts that he found are not on there, he will know for sure that she is up to something.0 -
ask her outright
or go into the bank and set up internet banking
also sign up for a credit check as i would not be surprised if there is a lot more to this than meets the eyeDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Could be very innocent.
My DH has never looked at a bank statement in 30 years of marriage, has no idea how many accounts we have or who with. He is simply not that interested and he earns a good salary. As long as he can use his debit card and money comes out he is content to leave the detail to me. He runs a high powered business and deals with millions, he delegates our personal finances to me, and his pension planning to a professional. Of course, he knows how we spend it, he doesn't know how I spend it, he trusts me to spend sensibly and save as needed. If he showed an interest I would show him all the accounts, and I do have a list in case I get run over!!but aside from that he is unaware of his assets!!0 -

Yes I agree it could as well.
My OH does get involved up to a point in our finances but he would not remember exactly where our accounts and savings were or how much.He does tend to leave it all to me.
We have both joint accounts and accounts in our own names as sometimes it works out better like that financially.0
