Been catching up on some of the stuff that didnt get done last week .
THE KITCHEN FLOOR IS SCRUBBED,,,,,,,,,,,i know im shouting .its been awhile since it was done and i want everyone to know its finally done :j
been putting it off all week , ( ok for many weeks ) and looks SO NICE now, dog & cats bowls all washed, our dinner trays washed (Although have to admit we havent used them since the table has been cleared)
"Almost " finished clearing the computer too ,not completed , but looks a lot better, how do we accumilate so much stuff !!!!
everywhere hoovered ( Dh did 2 rooms ) WM on etc
and cleaned the kitchen work tops etc. so im getting there, still LOADS of stuff to do , and lots of rooms to tackle , but i can see a difference, and the things that have been tackled are easier to keep clean ,
looking forward to see what Moggins has in store for us tonight .
we tend to throw anything that needs shredding in the shredding pile straight away ,and whoever shreds,,,does whatever is on the pile,. ( about the only thing we do have a system for ) then when i have enough shredded paper , it usually goes down to pre school for the kids to play with ( Hide animals in , use for tactile play)0 -
Well I suppose I really ought to do something.. Once the grubs are in bed that is.. other than find shoes and school bags and coats and uniforms etc.
My kitchen is pretty gross so I MUST attack that tomorrow.. the floor has a non-slip surface.. probably jam and lemon curd and goodness knows what else.. but at least Im safe.. or I wouls be if the washing piled in baskets all over the place was not quite so much of a health hazard.
Plus side is.. the door frame is on DS1's room as scheduled!! The upstairs rooms are still tidy and I have been the go-ahead to strip wallpaper.. my favouritest job!.. MESS MAKING!.. I also need kicking into gear.. anyone volunteering.. tell me to stop sitting here typing and go done something constructive!!

DH currently remaking the bed with fresh sheets, and i may be able to get him to make dinner too. I'm then tempted to have a bath and try for an early night so i'm fresh for a new week.
Michelle, x0 -
I've hardly been in the house today (doing coffees after church, then a gardening society meeting this afternoon), and the house isn't too bad!
Just dailies, and everything ready for tomorrow. I have to help DS1 sort out his shelf and file his work properly, and that's it.:D
New thread tonight?? Oooh, exciting! Though I think this week is going to be frantic, so I'm thinking of doing a fast-fly downstairs tomorrow, and upstairs on Friday.
PS the box has gone from the bedroom, so another bit of carpet is revealed! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hi Michelle, I think you are amazing trying to fly with a baby! I did practically no housework for years with my three, crisis management and blitzing when someone was due round (which is why my children still ask me who's coming when I get the hoover out!)
There's a poem I was given, and I cannot remember the exact words, must google it:
So where is the woman whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery blissfully rocking
Fly away cobwebs and dust go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keepIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I think Iam dead and no-one has noticed. I was out last night with friends and drank copious amounts of the falling down water. My friend was staying here so had worked hard yesterday tidying and cleaning for her coming. Problem with that was when we got home we opened a botlle of wine and yapped till 3am. My head is pounding and I feel like death. Even phoned a chinese take away for dinner.
Ach well I had a fabby night out and has been ages since I did that. Thank god I dont have a wild social life as it costs a fortune.;)
Have been lying snoozing on the sofa all day practically and will go to bed early and try and get back to normal tomorrow. House still ok thank goodness. Take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:rotfl: My kids say that now as well!! "Who's coming over mum?"
And what a wonderful poem!! Soo true!
Could I copy and keep it please?
My list for today:
Washing 4 loads. Washed dried AND put away (including the items that needed ironing)
Clean toilet
quick sweep of the living room
Quick sweep of the kitchen
We spent the afternoon visiting with family, and I felt absolutely GREAT walking back into a tidy house!! :j :j :j0 -

Kick Kick Kick!
I've been away for the weekend, so I've got tons to catch up with. Oh well, tomorrow is always another day. Now off to put WM on and watch a film...You only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -
i have also had a rather quiet weekend for flying, but we did have visitors last night and it was very nice not to have a made panic betweent he phone call to say were coming and people arriving the living room, dining room and bathroom were all presentable, it did mean that i didn't get the ironing done but i reckon thats what Top Gears for.
Moggins we're all waiting on your new post, does it have extra eyes for kicking us all into shape?0
